However, he has a certain sensitivity which sometimes makes him vulnerable to doubts, especially when he puts pressure on himself to achieve perfection. But in the midst of challenges, he always finds the strength to move forward thanks to his faith in his dreams and his unique bond with his exoskeleton.
----
*** Origins and dreams
Ren was born in Kyoto, but he grew up in a futuristic metropolis in the Central region where his father worked in a factory manufacturing exoskeleton prototypes, but after an accident he was forced to quit. Her mother was a housekeeper in a perfume company. From his childhood, Ren had a passion for racing and parkour, imagining himself flying between the rooftops of floating megacities.
He discovered Hyper Dash at the age of 12 and immediately fell in love with the sport. For him, it was not just a competition, but an art form where each movement represented a self-expression. Inspired by legends like Ryu Kazama and other icons, Ren vowed to become one of the best Dashers in the world and compete in the World Series.
----
*** Ultimate dream
Ren doesn't just dream of glory or trophies. His dream goes beyond competition: he wants to inspire a new generation of Dashers by showing that anything is possible with hard work, passion and courage. For him, Hyper Dash is a way of transcending human limits, a quest for freedom and expression.
Ren : "One day, I want to run like I'm flying, reach a level where I become one with the arena, with the wind, and with my exoskeleton."

[ Paris: 08:00 ]
Ren sat up, his tired eyes staring at the screen of his terminal. The cold neon illumination of the garage where he worked seemed to reflect off his goggles, his hands stained with grease and oil. The metallic smell of steel and plastic covered in cables filled the air. The garage was a confined, noisy place, where machines of all sizes hummed, but it was there that he felt alive.
Around him, discarded pieces of exoskeletons lay on work tables. Some were already equipped with the latest generation propulsion engines, others were just hulks waiting to be repaired. Each device had a story, but none of them had the promise he saw in his own project. It wasn't about repairing exoskeletons for others – it was his own exoskeleton, " NEXUS-08" , the one he was sure would change his life.
----
Ren glanced at the screen, where he had displayed the recording of the Hyper Dash World Championship finals. The Phantom Strikes had just won, and Jessy, the team's Collector, had managed to catch the last nexus crystal in a spectacular jump. Every movement in the arena, every precise and calculated movement, made him shiver with admiration.
This was how he saw himself, in a Hyper Dash arena, collecting crystals, dodging his opponents, taking crazy risks to achieve victory.
Ren: "One day…"
Ren sighed, eyes glued to the images. The Vorpal had dominated the competition, but with better cohesion the Phantom had won. Ren was convinced that if he had the opportunity, that with his exoskeleton, he could compete with them.
If only he could get into a regional competition and be seen by scouts. But how? He had no money or team, and his name was known to no one. The very idea of facing professionals like Xian or Jessy seemed unrealistic. But Ren wasn't the type to give up.
He jumped up, the wires and metal tools around him swaying like a wave. His gaze landed on the exoskeleton he had designed in this same garage, " Nexus-08 ".
Unlike other models, this one was no mere competition machine: it was the culmination of months of programming and modification, a masterpiece of its own genius. The exoskeleton sat on a table next to him, its frame thin and light, but sturdy.
He wasn't as large as the champions' models, but there was something different about him, an almost organic look, as if metal and technology had fused together to create an extension of his own body.
Ren adjusted the power cables and inserted the last chip he had coded. The propulsion motors turned on, emitting a faint hum. This will be my chance, Ren thought as he put on the exoskeleton's reinforced gloves and boots. He stood in the garage, and exited into an alley. a frail but determined figure, already imagining the Hyper Dash terrain, the moving arena, the frantic speed of the race.
Ren: "just once…"
He bit his lower lip. A simple test to see if it works...
He pressed a button on the control bracelet, and the exoskeleton began to move. A faint whirring sound was heard, and in a breath, Ren felt the thrust of the propulsion. He lunged forward, throwing himself towards the garage wall, before straightening up in one fluid movement. His feet slid across the ground, the exoskeleton allowing him to cover a distance he would never have been able to achieve under normal circumstances.
Then, without thinking, he exited the garage and launched himself into the air. A powerful jump that made him float for an instant before he landed a few meters away, he followed up with a backflip and at lightning speed he zigzagged between the debris. In the distance he saw a tree leaf about to fall to the ground and set himself the goal of catching it. he launched the skill "Dash" and propelled himself forward with a speed faster than ever and avoided obstacles fluidly despite his high speed and grabbed the leaf.
Ren (for himself): "And the collector Ren manages to catch the crystal to give victory to his team..."
Ren was filled with excitement, he immediately felt lighter, as if anything was possible. He smiled, a wide smile spreading across his tired face. He finally had a chance. But he knew it was just the beginning. One test was not enough...
In the distance on a wall we could see a camera which had recorded all the events that had just happened....
