According to the legends of creation, the universe was dark! Monstrous creatures dominated every corner of the universe.
Saddened by living amidst darkness and monsters, the Goddess of Creation, Yaaly, wept! Her tears, imbued with her sacred energy, fell upon the territory of a small, bipedal race of furry creatures, purifying them and triggering physical mutations. Eventually, they took on an appearance similar to the Goddess herself.
Amazed by these creatures, Yaaly was overjoyed. Her joyful laughter resonated throughout the universe, giving rise to stars that illuminated the ancient darkness. However, her happiness and light brought envy and hatred from the rulers of the monstrous creatures, who were no less powerful than her.
These rulers sought to corrupt Yaaly's beloved little creatures, who had begun to call themselves humans. To protect them, she bestowed upon them the ability to strengthen themselves with three types of energy: mana, used to cast spells; Qi, to strengthen the body; and spiritual energy, to strengthen the soul.
Undeterred, the rulers sent the race of belladonnas, female creatures with the ability to transform into the most beautiful and charming female version of any creature. Through them, the rulers began to manipulate and corrupt the innocent humans.
Furious over the contamination of her precious humans, Goddess Yaaly waged a great war against the rulers. Though alone, she gained the upper hand in each battle, killing three of the twelve rulers.
Frightened by this, the remaining rulers devised a plan involving their beloved humans and nearly succeeded in killing Yaaly. Before falling into a deep sleep, she forced all nine surviving rulers to seal themselves in the core of nine different planets.
As a final act before slumbering, Goddess Yaaly used the bodies of the three fallen rulers to create a barrier around the star system where the human race lived, isolating them from the creatures of darkness. However, unbeknownst to her, a fragment of the Red Ruler's soul mixed with the barrier, allowing some weaker species to enter her beautiful planet. This forced humanity to fight for its survival.
In honor of their Goddess, the humans named their planet Yaaly.
