Eric was awakened by terrifying roars as the ground beneath him shook violently.
"What the hell?" he muttered, half-asleep.
His confusion was short-lived, however, when he heard another roar in the distance... this time, it was closer.
In the next instant, he was already up and had dashed away.
It seemed that having a giant monster scream loudly was the fastest way to wake someone up.
"What's happening?" Eric muttered under his breath as he ran away from the violent sounds happening somewhere behind him.
There were roars of different creatures, one he recognized, it was the roar of the giant spider.
But the other one sounded unfamiliar to him.
"Never mind that—why is it getting closer?" he shouted as he continued sprinting.
Despite pushing himself with everything he had, it seemed the violent sounds were getting closer.
'It sounds like something's fighting. Is it for food, territory, or some other reason?!'
