We walk for hours, or maybe days — time has lost its meaning again. The city, the world around us, shifts and changes in ways I can't describe. It's not a place anymore. It's a dream, a fluid landscape where everything is interconnected, every decision a ripple that alters the course of reality. There are no longer fixed paths, no lines that separate one choice from another. All roads, all decisions, blend together in a vast sea of possibilities.
I stop for a moment, letting the surreal beauty of it all wash over me. The sky is alive with color, swirling in patterns I've never seen before. The stars no longer twinkle. Instead, they seem to pulse with energy, like they're alive — like they're watching us, waiting for us to make the next move. The ground beneath my feet vibrates with the rhythm of the universe, and I feel an odd sense of calm settle within me.
"We've really done it, haven't we?" one of the versions asks, her voice quiet, almost in awe.
"We've broken through the limits," another version replies, his eyes wide with wonder. "We're not bound by time anymore. We're free to choose — to live — without fear of the loop."
I look at each of them, each version of myself standing before me. We are not just fragments of the same consciousness anymore. We are whole, individual, yet united in purpose. We've transcended the boundaries of time and space, and now, we are standing on the edge of something vast — something infinite.
And then, as if in response to our shared understanding, the horizon stretches before us, an endless expanse of possibilities, waiting to be explored. There's no end in sight, no destination to reach. It's not a journey with a clear beginning or an end. It's an infinite horizon, and we are free to walk it as we choose.
"Do we go forward?" one of the versions asks. "Or do we wait for the next step to come to us?"
I look at the horizon, feeling the weight of the question. The future is no longer a fixed path. It's not something we can predict or control. It's a space that exists solely in the present moment, shaped by the choices we make in the here and now.
"We don't have to wait," I say, my voice steady. "The horizon is already here. It's not a place we're waiting to reach. It's a place we're already in. The choice is to walk into it — or to stay still. But there is no 'next' coming. There's only what we choose right now."
I take a step forward, my foot falling softly onto the ground. The others follow, and together, we step into the infinite horizon — a world not bound by time, not bound by anything. A world shaped by our choices, our will, and our courage to embrace what's ahead.
We've already made the most important choice — to move forward. And in doing so, we've unlocked the universe itself.
And so, we walk.
