Alderaan.
"What exactly are we looking at?" Mon mothma bewildered at the structure projected in the hologram was before her asked. After explaining to the two senators what the Star forge was, they now had several questions.
"This automated shipyard would be absolutely needed for the fight against Darth sidious. Tell me, have you heard the legend of Darth Revan?" Both of the senators shook their heads.
"There was once a powerful Jedi Knight, who truly cared about the people of the galaxy during the age of the old republic. When the mandalorian war began, systems cried out to the republic and to the Jedi order. The Jedi council refused to partake in the war, but some in the order did not accept the will of the council and took it upon themselves to join the war. The Jedi Revan and his best friend Alek. Together the two fought the Mandalorians. Eventually Revan challenged Mandalore the Ultimate and defeated him in one on one combat. It was at this point that Revan and Alek learned the truth about how the Mandalorians were being controlled by the hidden Sith empire." Seth took a slip from his glass before he continued.
"Both Revan and Alek and their forced attempted to kill the Sith emperor, but the two were corrupted and turned to the dark side by the Sith Emperor. He dubbed them Darth Revan and Darth Malak. With his two new powerful Sith, he gave them the Star forge and with it, they waged a brutal war against the Republic. They nearly won, but during a major battle, Malak opened fire on Revan's flagship. However, the Jedi he was fighting saved him. The legend now splits, some believe that Revan redeemed himself and became a Jedi once more, others think that he became a Sith lord once more. The point I'm trying to say is that these Star-Forge has been proven to provide a major military fleet before. With modern data and they could be modified to have droid foundries, this will be the key to toppling Palpatine." Seth finished.
"This would speed up our plans, but there is no way we could get enough materials to build such a station would raise alarms with the Empire almost immediately figure out something was going on." Mon mothma stated.
"But what if we built a self-building struct that would use the nearby Star to build itself?"
"That would be more doable, yet how would you design such a-, you already have one don't you?" Bail saw the cheeky grin coming from the former Separatist general.
"Two to be exact. Inside of that ship over there." Seth point to [Mother] on the landing pad.
"Where do you plan on placing them?" Bail asked.
"There are a few areas in the unknown regions that may suffice. I had a few hideouts during the Clone Wars, but I don't know if they are still around, and I have another issue that has to be address." Seth brought on a hologram showing several Imperial class Star Destroyers.
"I need the schematics for these monsters." Seth said as he played a holoclip of the imperial propaganda.
"To build?" Mon Mothma asked.
"No, having the same ship would be reckless, I wanted to build on top of this design and cover its weakness. For that we need to learn the weaknesses. Tell me, are there any starship engineers in the movement?"
"We have several beings. Most notably several Mon Cala and Quarren." Seth knew the Quarren very well. They were the ones that designed most of the CIS warship, and he knew that the Mon Calamari were master ship builders.
"Very good. After we get the schematics and I hand over some prototype ship designs, we may have a fighting chance. Now then how- Organa, is someone else coming?" Seth said as he placed a hand on his lightsaber.
"No, I wasn't expecting anyone. Especially not you. Wait, what is today's date?" As he was trying to recall if he had a meeting with someone, Seth entered a battle stance and held his hilts in his hands. A moment later a female Togruta entered the room with a cloak covering herself. It took a mere second of the Togruta landing her eyes on Seth, before Lightsabers were ignited. Purple clashed with White as the two blades let out a series of sparks. Yuuki, Mon Mothma, and Organa all hid behind nearby furniture as the two clone wars vets fought.
Seth was effortly blocking all of the Togruta's attack, but things couldn't be allowed to continue like this. Their blades were making a lot of noise and someone would come in to investigate, regardless of Bail's orders. Seth in one swipe of his double blades, cracked open, his opponent's defence and thrusted his right hand forward. With an immense unseen power, the Togruta was sent hurling back and found herself pinned against the wall. With lightning arcing between his fingers, Seth raised his hand, yet before he fired his attack, Bail jumped in.
"Wait! Stop!" The senator from Alderaan shouted at the former general. The Togruta felt the pressure on her release, causing her to fall to the floor.
"Senator, I wasn't gonna kill her. I can stun people with my lightning. I think..." Seth mumbled that last part to himself.
"Ahsoka, are you alright?" Organa said as he extended his hand out to the dizzy former Jedi. After getting up she reached for her blades, but the senator placed a hand on her arm and pleaded with her to not. She instead began to glare at the Jedi killer.
"To be fair, you drew your lightsaber first."
"Only because you were holding a lightsaber! Bail why is he here? In case you forgot he murdered most of the temple!"
"What? I believe you are mistaken Jedi." Seth said. Before Ahsoka could react, Seth began to play a video from his holoprojector. It showed footage of the Jedi temple under attack. Ahsoka was about to voice her disgust with him playing something so horrendous, but her voice was lost as she watched her former master leading the attack and ordering his personal clone legion to kill the Jedi in the temple. Seeing the horror on her face, the former Sith ended the video. Now that he got a look at her, he realised who she was. If his memory was correct, then she was none other than the former apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano. But she was presumed missing by CIS intelligence networks.
"The Jedi were attacked by a former member of the order. Your master, General Skywalker had sworn his loyalty to the Emperor and burned his former home down. He would have slaughtered even more had I not interfered even more would have died." That was when Seth brought up another clip of him teaching the youngling some basic lightsaber techniques. The sight of the young children shocked her, considering she knew a few of them.
"Those are-"
"The children in the Jedi temple at the time of the attack. They are safe and sound. Under the tutelage of not just myself, but master Cin Drallig and Master Serra Keto." Seth showed a few clips of the two Jedi teaching the small children. This put a smile on the face of the former padawan.
"So, there are others. Where are they?"
"They are safe. The emperor cannot reach them. For their safety, I will not tell you their exact location." 'Yuuki, don't tell her about out home.' Seth added in Japanese to his wife, who nodded.
"That doesn't explain why you are here?" Ashoka said as she was trying to figure out what Seth had said. It didn't sound aggressive in tone, but that could be deceptive.
"I'm here to help our little movement." The sound of Seth's communicator going off blasted the room and immediately the former Sith answered. As the hologram appeared a Super tactical droid appeared.
"Noga, you're still online?" Noga was Seth's second in command when he was given control of his own fleet towards the end of the war. Considering the age of the unit, the fact he was still online was a shock. But a welcome one.
"General Fairs, we have awaited you return and are standing by."
"The status of the fleet?"
"Only minimal united are active for maintenance, but 80% of the original droid are combat ready."
"Send over a manifest immediately, and standby for orders."
"Yes General, sending the data now. We await your return." When the data packet arrived, the room's shock grew even more. Just before the battle of Coruscant Seth was given a sizable boost in his own private fleet which numbered 34 capital ships with the one Subjugator class heavy battlecruiser, the [Absolute]. This was being built during the war and was completed mere hours before the Republic had launched an invasion of the shipyards where it was being built. Luckily Seth had forced a test of its hyperdrive saying it had come from Dooku, which it did not.
"You had a fleet in hiding?"
"I was planning on killing Dooku and Grievous toward the end of the war. I knew someone was pulling the strings on the separatist movement and delaying the war. Several times, I could have launched crippling blows to the Republic but Dooku always prevented me." Seth said as he started to read the manifest. He had a total of 20 Munificent-class, 3 DH-Omni Support ships. 2 Lucrehulk-class battleships, 4 Providence-class, 4 Recusant-class light destroyer and the [Absolute] when the battle of Coruscant happened. He started to go through the list and saw that everything was almost perfect, but 3 of the Munificent ship were cannibalized to assist with the repair and maintenance of the other ships. A large amount of the Tibanna gas was no longer stable and couldn't be used. Oxygen levels were zero in all ships, meaning that if they headed out there, they had to bring their own supply. Though the battle droids were still battle ready who numbered in the millions.
"This is wonderful news, we have a fleet for the cause." Bail stated as he saw the hologram.
"Yes, though it's not meant for organics. To convert these ships for organic crews will take some time. Though along with the two [Star Forge] stations, we will have a fighting chance. But Ships alone will not be enough. Are your people willing to fight Senator?" Seth asked.
"No, not yet. The clone war is still fresh in the minds of my people as it is in the rest of the galaxy." This was something Seth fear. The idea of using battle droids would not go well with most people in the galaxy considering how costly the last war was. Fighting a war was not simply killing the enemy but winning the hearts of the people. The wound caused by the 3 long years of war was still aching.
"Senators, we must gain the support of the people. We have no chance for victory against Palpatine unless we have the people on our side. I will leave now to set the stations up and check the fleet. Can you spare some air?" Seth said as he got up.
"I'll have it loaded on your ship. Good luck my friend." Bail said.
"Hold it." Ahsoka said as Seth was about to leave.
"Yes?"
"I'm coming with you."
"Don't you have matters to discuss with the Senator?"
"I was here to drop off my report. I'm coming to make sure you don't have a secondary objective."
"You may do as you wish." Seth said as he held his hand out for Yuuki. After the trio exited the room and entered the hallway. Seth felt something hit his leg. He looked down and saw a young brown hair girl with her hair set in a braid.
"Oh, I'm sorry mister." The small girl said as she ran off.
"Leia come back! It's time for your afternoon lessons." A handmaiden soon gave chase.
"So that her. She's so big now."
"Huh?" Ahsoka asked.
"It's nothing of importance. Just a reminder of how old I'm getting. Come, let's get some food first while we wait for the oxygen to be loaded."
A little later.
The trio he made their way to a cafe not too far from the castle. As they sat looking on the menu, Seth realized that Yuuki couldn't read basic. He quickly explains some of the menu options, but in the end she decided to get the same thing as him.
"I've been meaning to ask, but who is this woman?"
"My wife actually. She doesn't know basic." Ahsoka's eye widen with surprise at this information. She thought that Yuuki was a relative or a daughter conspiring how young she looks. She would have asked another question, but then she noticed that Yuuki was staring at her. Suddenly felt a hand on one of her tendrils. This caused the tourguta to jump up and left out a small shirk.
"Wha-wha-what?" Ahsoka stammered out as she regained herself. She heard the two conversing in that strange language before Seth spoke.
"I apologize for her actions. She's never seen a non-human before and was curious about your sensory tendrils. She says she's sorry as well."
"Oh." In the outer rim it was not uncommon for people to go their whole lives and not see another member of a separate species. It was then that the waiter returned with their plates.
After they were done eating, the trio headed towards [Mother], who reported that the ship was now loaded with the oxygen and a few basics needs Bail had given. After settling in and clearing the atmosphere R8 plugged in the coordinates. Several seconds later the ship entered hyperspace.
Several Hours Later.
After the jump to hyperspace, [Mother] arrived in a unknown system, at the edge of wild space nearing the Unknown regions.
"Where's the fleet?" The former Jedi asked as she looked around.
"We're not there yet, this is just as far as the Navi computer can take us safely. [Mother] disable all hyperdrive safety features."
'Hyperdrive safety features are not offline.' A female robotic voice said.
"Why did you disable the safety?" Ahsoka's mind was racing. The safety features of a hyperdrive was in place so that a ship wouldn't hit any major celestial bodies. Like a rogue black hole or planet or any of the many danger in the galaxy.
"The Unknown regions are a very dangerous place to travel. Hyperspace lanes are not stable and are prone to being completely destroyed at random. However, the beings of the Unknown regions do have a way of traveling in hyperspace."
"And that is?"
"The force. They use force sensitives to navigate Hyperspace. You know how in a dual you have been trained to use the force to see where your opponent is going to strike?"
"How do you know this?"
"Well for one, Sith and Jedi training are not that different in practice, and secondly, I was trained by Dooku, a former Jedi. Onto the matter at hand, one sufficiently skilled in the force should be able navigate the unknown regions safely." Seth began to press several. Buttons before the ship entered Hyperspace again. As the ship traveled through the blue tunnel, Seth closed his eyes and held his hands on the controls.
"A star is coming up, shift to the left. Now a planet is in the way." Ahsoka and Yuuki heard alarms blazing from the computer, but they quickly died down. This happened several times, but after what seemed like an eternity, Seth pulled the ship out of Hyperspace. They came across a seemingly dead system, but as they made their way around the blue ocean planet, they were met with a squadron of vulture droids. Seth typed in a code and the droids began to fly in formation with the ship. They soon came across the slight of the Separatist fleet with the remnant of 3 torn apart ships, but just beyond that was Seth fleet. Though most of them were in low power mode and looked as though they were abandoned. It was slightly early to witness. Especially to Ahsoka, who was having some flashback to the clone wars. She never imagined herself willing landing in a Separatist warship.
"You were in charge of these?" Yuuki asked in awe of these massive ship. They made their own navy look like child's play.
"I was, and with them I fought an equally powerful foe. I'll tell you some of my tales more in depths if you want?" Seth offered as he responded in Japanese.
"Later honey." Yuuki said as they started to dock with the [Absolute]. Seth gave the two-women space suit, since he they were entering a ship without life support aside from the gravity generator. As the ramp descending, they were greeted by two magnaguard droids and the Super tactical droid Noga.
"General Fairs, greetings." The droid said.
"It's been quite some time Noga."
"Nine year, five months, twelve days, seven hours, sixteen minutes and forty-eight seconds since you were aboard this ship to be exact." The droid responded. Noga turned his head and made a note of the unknown purple haired human. However, once he moved his optical sensors and spotted Ahsoka, the magnaguards staff came to life. The tourguta would have drawn her lightsabers, but she was stopped by an unseen force.
"All units stand down." Seth said, and the droids lowered their weapons.
"General there is a Jedi next to you." The droid stated.
"I am aware of that Noga. I order you to remove her from your target list."
"Roger, roger. Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano is no longer to be designated as a target for elimination."
"Roger, roger." Noga responded.
"You had me as a target?" Ahsoka asked.
"When I raided the Temple, I also copied a list of all active Jedi. It was nothing personal." The former Sith responded. He ordered the droid to guide the two to the command bridge while he worked on getting the oxygen in place.
It took a little longer than expected, but Seth got it working after getting some assistance from the repair droids he reactivated. Once the oxygen flooded the ship a large amount of dust blasted from the vents, leaving a bad smell, but it was breathable and that's all that Seth cared about.
"Maybe I should take a walk." The interior of the [Absolute] was so large it had in internal tain system. But it could be traveled by foot. Blaze and Flame materialized next to him.
Meanwhile with Yuuki.
Yuuki was looking around the bridge of the battlecruiser looking at all the console. Despite Seth's Empire having hyper advance warships, she never sat in the bridge of one before. Not because she wasn't allowed or anything. If she had uttered the phrase 'I want to see the inside of a ship' Seth would have brought her aboard the [Nobunaga] within twenty minutes. There was simply no desire to do so. Now in the bridge of one of the most feared weapon of the clone wars, she was impressed by all the screens and unknown alien text on the screens.
"I never thought I would be on the bridge of a Subjugator class." Ahsoka said to Yuuki. The former Jedi saw the other girl in the room look at her before a smile appeared on her face.
"Oh, you can't speak basic." Ahsoka was cursing herself for not remembering. However just then thing entered the bridge. It was a tan protocol droid.
"Greeting, my designation is J-4PO. I have been assigned to Yuuki Fairs to be her personal transition unit. I hope to be of use to you, my lady." The droid said in Japanese as he approached Yuuki, only for the droid to be bumped by another droid.
"My word, who would be-R8?! By the separatist council, it is you! Where have you been, the war is stilling going on. We need every droid to do their part." That was when R8 let out a long series of beeps. It was nearly two minutes before J-4PO responded.
"The war was lost..." The droid sounded depressed, but quickly shifted towards Yuuki.
"Regardless of the war, my master has returned, and has given me a new purpose. I am at your disposal, my lady." The droid said in Japanese, much to Ahsoka's confusing.
"Can you translate while you're nearby me." Yuuki requested.
"As you wish, my lady."
"What is that language anyway? I've been trying to figure out for a while now?" Ahsoka asked out loud. Ahsoka heard the droid speak that unknown language before Yuuki responded. Which was followed by the droid speaking in basic.
"It's called Japanese. It's my native tongue. I'm sorry I can't speak english, however I understand a little bit on my own. What were you talking about earlier." The droid said for Yuuki.
"Ah, well I was just surprised to be aboard this ship. The Republic was terrified of this class of ship."
"You were in the big war? The same one Seth was in?"
"Yeah the clone war. I was 14 when the fighting broke out." With this information Yuuki wanted to ask a question.
"My husband never told us about his time in this war. What was he like? Did he save you?" Jay relayed to the former Jedi.
"We were on opposite side during the war. But the Jedi did know about him." Ahsoka said as she began to reminisce about her day in the order. How she fought side by side with Captain Rex, the elite five-O-first legion, and of course her masters, the famed Anakin Skywalker. A Jedi that showed compassion and bravery like no other, yet he betrayed the order he swore to protect. She had been crying on the inside when she saw the footage. Sure, it could have been edited, but the sight of the clones and the scale of the whole attack, it couldn't be nothing but the truth and those younglings, she knew them. Several weeks before she was framed and left the order, Ahsoka had talk to the little girl with red hair that was in the class Seth taught. It was odd considering how young she looked, but Seth also looked young. He should be at least her age if not older. She noticed that Yuuki seemed to want to know more information.
"During the war, the Jedi and the Clone troopers feared him. Around 6 months into the war, we started to get reports of a masked lightsaber wielder, from clone legions whose units had been attacked and nearly all are wiped out. It was when Kamino was attacked that we had solid proof of this Jedi killer." Ahsoka started to remember more about those early days of the war when General Grievous seemed unkillable and dozens of Jedi seemed to disappear, which were more than likely cause of Seth. The Jedi, thought that he might have been the Sith Lord behind the separatist movement. They were sure of it when the mysterious Sith snuck into the Temple, in the middle of the day, granted it had not been the first time the temple was breached.
A tense silence soon overcame the the two women, but that was broken when they heard a hissing noise come through the vents. Ahsoka scanned the air with her sensor and noticed oxygen was now in the bridge meaning they could remove suits. Though they soon regretted that decision as a terrible smell was in the air. Droids were clean for the most part, but the fluids to keep them running were unpleasant to the nose.
"Ew what is that!" Yuuki was blasted by the foul stench and recoiled. It took a few moments before they two of them got used to it, but it was still not pleasant. Eventually Ahsoka was curious how this girl got involved with a Sith lord.
Yuuki told the story of how she met him, in a gaming world as how he worked to help her. When she was kidnapped by those mysterious men, she thought she was done for, but as she laid on the small bed locked in the room waiting for god knows what to happen to her, she began to hear the sounds of explosions. This was followed by alarms blaring, scaring her. Her fear expanded when she began gun fire nearby, followed by the sound of screaming and a weird energy sound. The wall with the door on it was suddenly destroyed as a Red mecha suit burst through the wall. She had let out a yelp as the Mecha suit tore down the wall.
Now face to face with the red suit, she held her voice was she wondered what about to happen to her. That was when the horned mask was removed allowing her to see the face of the pilot.
"Sorry for making you wait Yuuki, I'm here to take you home!" Seth said to the girl. Though she had a lot of questions, she wanted to leave this place more than anything else. After escaping and spending everyday together, for several months she began to fall for her savior, but she was conflicted because he was already seeing Shino. And the rest was history.
The two girls were in the midst of a conversion when Seth arrived in the bridge. He noticed the two were talking and decided not to interrupt them. Seth looked at a nearby monitor and was soon joined by his robotic second in command.
"We are ready to launch an attack at a moment notice."
"Noga, the war has been long over."
"I had come to that conclusions, however, I held out in case you returned, and here you are, General." The super tactical droid said.
"Your prediction has come to pass. Your program truly is amazing."
"I thank you, General. As much as I would like to continue this discussion, I believe we must get to business as you meatbags say." That was when Noga brought up a hologram of a starship, however this class was one Seth wasn't familiar with.
"What am I looking at?"
"Unknown hostile forces have been attacking us for the past 3 weeks. We have little to know data on them. General your orders?"
"Where are these ships." Seth asked.
"They have been jumping in an out of the system. We have lost 42 vulture droids to their repeated probes, however the [Absolut] has remained hidden from them, in part to the GN drives aboard the ship."
"Style of weapons?"
"Sub-standard form of plasma. Turbolaser fire has proven effective against the shield of the unknown ships. Data would suggest that ion weapons would be highly effective."
"Starfighter complement?"
"As of now, we have yet to see any fighters leave from these ships, though they do have structures that appear to be hanger, that suggest they do have small craft aboard the ship."
"Did you place a tracker on them."
"As per separatist protocol we placed a tracker on two vessels and have their current position, however when we sent a reconancess droid, the hyperlane it was using became unstable and was lost."
"Bring all forced to combat readiness. We will launch on assault Immediately. These beings have made themselves an enemy of the Separatist alliance and will be eliminated."
"Roger, roger. Reactivating all units."
From the viewports, while in the middle of their conversion Ahsoka and Yuuki saw the ships around being to light up and more B1 battle droids entered the command bridge. They began to take their battle station. Ahsoka saw that the cannons on the ship were swiveling back and forth. It was a test run. Soon a squadron of tri-fighters did a flyby near the command bridge.
"In 15 minutes all units will be activated and ready for battle. What is you order General Dominus."
"Noga, once the fleet is ready, make the jump to hyperspace. Destination is the location of the trackers."
"Roger General. Making the preparations for the jump."
Seth was about to show these unknown attackers the full might of the Separatist alliance and the power of the force.
