Three days had passed since the announcement of the much-anticipated festival, the Clubs Together Festival. Finally, the big day had arrived. Rasagi High was buzzing with excitement as both students and citizens alike prepared to enjoy the festivities. Though organized by the school, this was no ordinary event—it was a public celebration, drawing people from all around.
Behind the smiles and laughter of the crowd, however, there was a lingering tension among the club members. For them, this festival wasn't just fun; it was a moment of judgment, a chance to showcase their hard work and creativity. The Video Editing Club, led by Shyam and his peers, was no exception.
Their project, a short film created in collaboration with the Videography Club, was complete and ready for screening. Yet, despite their preparations, anxiety hung in the air. How would the audience react? Would their efforts be recognized? These questions swirled in their minds as they watched the festival come alive around them.
The school grounds were a vibrant tapestry of activity. Each club was eager to show off its talents:
The Arts Club was busy adding final touches to the decorations that transformed the school into a festive wonderland.
The Photography Club roamed the grounds, capturing candid moments and printing photographs to share with visitors.
The Drama and Entertainment Clubs took to the stage, captivating audiences with their engaging performances.
The Foods Club had set up colorful stalls near the main gate, drawing crowds with delicious aromas that filled the air.
The festival officially opened its gates at 10:00 a.m., and it didn't take long for the grounds to be packed with smiling faces. The joyous energy was contagious, with laughter and chatter echoing through every corner of the school.
Far from the lively crowd, however, a quieter story was unfolding. In a secluded part of the school, a connection was blossoming—a relationship between a teacher and a student. Was this the start of a new story, or perhaps the continuation of an existing one? A story involving Anorbo and Myafu Rena. (Read more in "The Hit of Romances — What Kind of Relationship Is This?")
Meanwhile, Raitha and Ritika wandered through the festival, exploring the various club activities. They were particularly interested in the Video Editing Club's project, which was scheduled to premiere in the evening. The short film, a labor of love, was a collaboration with the Videography Club.
Though the Video Editing Club excelled at their craft, they were not skilled at videography. As editors, their expertise lay in refining footage, not capturing it. Nevertheless, the seven members had poured their hearts into this project, reviewing it repeatedly to ensure every detail was perfect.
This was their first team effort, and they knew how much was riding on it. A successful showing could attract new members to their club—something they desperately needed, as most of the current members were just a year away from graduation. Fresh talent would be essential to keep the club alive once they moved on.
As the hours passed, the festival grew even more crowded. The excitement in the air was electric, and anticipation built steadily as the evening approached. Finally, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived: the screening of the Video Editing Club's short film.
Would their hard work pay off? Only time would tell, but for now, all eyes turned toward the screen as the lights dimmed and the crowd hushed in anticipation.
