A baby's cry broke through and echoed across the quiet room as Amelia Pendragon carried her youngest brother before wiping him with a soft and warm piece of washed cloth.
Once done, she warped him in another piece of silver cloth that fit his body well.
She did her best to calm him down as he held onto her tightly with his two tiny hands, the tears covering his face.
"Sweaty," Another voice echoed through the room as their mother called to her, an older and more refined copy of her except for the rich golden hair that differed between them.
Amelia eventually handed her younger brother to their mother and Taurus burst crying once again before repeating his actions and holding her tightly like he did with his sister upon remembering the events that happened a little while past his birth.
She rocked him back and forth for a few moments before offering him her breast. She eventually stared at him lovingly as he quieted down while getting fed by her.
'Everything must be fine this time!' He thought, wishing the efforts he put to end the war were more than enough.
In the past, his father would return wounded and his elder brother would be nothing but a corpse, drowning the family in sorrow. But after offering the monster king a chance to fix the past, he believed the future would be different this time.
Unknowingly, he not only saved his lover, but he also saved her mother from the ones who plotted her death.
Taurus drank in his mother's beautiful face, her sadness and haggard form were nowhere to be found.
He silently swore to protect her before closing his eyes and pretending to fall asleep as the interface appeared before his eyes, illuminating the darkness caused by his closed eyes.

'Almost perfect!' Taurus thought the moment he witnessed his {properties}, the only thing that displeased him was the fragment of corruption granting him a power he never had any interest in.
Taurus was not inherently evil, but he believed his creation leaned a little far toward the dark side since it was created from ingredients containing abyssal force.
Although he could level up faster through that method, he saw it as a scummy way. Something his humanity couldn't allow him.
He believed he was a hypocrite, knowing very well his thoughts were ironic for someone who led an army of beasts, wiping everything in his way.
'I hope everything will be fine,' Knowing the spirit didn't act on its own usually, he smiled guessing he could do nothing to remove the unwanted trait he had gotten.
"Can I have him again, please?!" Amelia spoke once again with two wide eyes as her mother hugged Taurus tightly.
Taurus remembered Amelia being twelve around this time and their mother, Alexandra was twenty-seven when she gave birth to him.
He rejoiced in his mother's arms the moment he heard about his sister, she was the kindest person he had known during his past life, and thus, he couldn't refuse her.
"How about you play with him? There is plenty of space here." Alex placed her son on the soft bed she lay on and Amelia nodded her head before climbing.
She began using her small hand to play with him and he happily cooperated while giggling every now and then.
Time passed quickly to the point that he almost couldn't feel it and one of Pendragon's maids entered the room, bringing them the news.
It wasn't even a full day and the news of the human/monster came to an end. It was a sudden event as the monster race retreated along their beasts, the rumors spreading about Raphael ordering his army to retreat.
'Good!' Taurus grew happier, not surprised by how fast it happened and his quiet giggles grew louder as he excitedly played with his sister.
His mother and the maid frowned for a moment before guessing it was a mere coincidence. His sister on the other hand didn't care at all and actively played with him until the night fell on them eventually as he drifted to sleep in Alexandra's arms.
A few hours and Taurus' cries broke once again, needing his mother to feed him and most importantly, someone to clean his ass. The same maid from earlier cleaned his butt and returned him to his mother so she could feed him.
The fact that he wasn't granted his name yet was something that didn't bother him, he eventually fell asleep knowing his father was the one who was going to name him.
It was an agreement between both of his parents, something he respected very well. His mother would name the girls she gave birth to and his father would name the boys.
Time passed quickly and nothing out of the ordinary happened until Duke Pendragon and his son arrived three days later.
Taurus guessed Theo was sixteen since that was the age when he died, and he knew his father was in his early thirties.
Edmund Pendragon stormed through the house's interior house with his well-refined muscular frame and silver hair before knocking on the door of his bedroom as Theo followed him.
Both shared a single emotion as the excitement painted their faces while waiting patiently for the door to open.
A few moments passed before losing their patience and then both decided to brag inside, knowing no strangers were inside from the maids.
