With the nervousness bubbling in Paola's chest she gingerly entered the classroom filled with students each one engrossed in one thing or the other not to even take notice of her presence.
It was her first day at Sterling's high school and so the nervousness was a given, all of a sudden a gentle tap drew her back to reality. "Hi, you must be new here" came a gentle voice behind her. Turning to look at the speaker she came face to face with a girl of her height with dark short hair which barely crossed her shoulders and light blue iris which reminded her of the ocean. " Hi my name is Paola Roland and yes I am new here" she replied smiling .
" Paris smith" came the soft voice ,"come here I don't have a seat partner, you can join me". Paris said moving towards her desk with Paola trailing behind.
" Hey Paris! There you are " came the voice of two guys who walked into the classroom just as the two girls got to their desk. " Jeez, these boys" Paola said shaking her head "come over here guys" .
" And who do we have here" One of the guys named Nick asked. " Uhm, guys this is Paola Roland and Paola these are my friends Nick and Jax. The guys were good looking in fact everyone she had met here were attractive. " It's nice to meet you Nick and Jax" said Paola why trying to hide the blush that threatened to show on her face.
" Nice to meet you too Paola" said the boys in unison.
" Wait a minute, there is a Diego Roland are you two by chance related?" Nick asked . Paola was seemingly surprised was her brother popular at school ," yes we are siblings" she replied. "Don't we look alike?"
" Not really" Paris , Jax and Nick chorused seemingly amused.
"Friends right? I mean we and you" Nick asked putting his hand forth for a handshake , " Yes" taking his hand for a handshake Paola was glad she got to make friends despite it being her first day at school and they all seemed nice she could only look forward to creating beautiful memories through out her stay in high school.
With today being the first day at school , there was no lecture as everyone was still getting settled, Paris , Nick and Jax decided to tour Paola around after which they stopped at the School's cafe, they chatted for a while with Paris, Nick and Jax taking their time to get to know their new friend till it was time for Paola to leave. Standing up she heard Nick say, " I could ask my driver to drop you Paola" Nick offered his help. " Nah thanks, I wouldn't want to impose and that's really nice of you Nick" Paola politely declined, with smiles on her lips Paola bid the trio bye and left the cafe to head home.
"She seems very nice and cool" Jax said still looking at the empty seat which was occupied by Paola few moments ago. "Friendly and sweet " Paris chipped in , she was so glad to finally have a female friend as she has been stucked with Nick and Jax through out middle school. " Well I find her extremely beautiful" Nick added as he was whipped himself. I mean who can blame him cause Paola is really a sight to behold. With just the perfect height and figure for her age and her dark brown long wavy hair which cascaded down to her waist, and the brown iris to complement her hair colour on her fair skin. She was really beautiful and had won a lot of contexts just for being good-looking.
With her arrival at Sterlings high, things are gonna shake up this academic year because She is a girl with a hidden talent.
