"Hey Sammy! Is this the binder you were obsessed with finding?" My sister, Valrie, called. She was holding a binder with a Snorlax on the Front. Said binder was filled with, you guessed it, Pokemon Cards.
I am Samuel Lunstrum, a Huge Pokemon Fan and Pokemon Card Collector. I'm 20 years old and I'm moving out of my sister's house.
I've been living with my sister, who is 33 years old, for 13 years after both of our parents died in a Car accident. (They were run over by a Truck).
"Yeah, that's the one!" I yelled to her. We were currently looking through the attic of my sister's house for my stuff we put up there. I know it seems a little weird I like Pokemon still, but I don't give a fuck, Pokemon is the only subject I like in life. I used to be a fan of issekai's before my parents were killed. I get nightmares of a truck running me over now.
"Is that everything you wanted to find?!?" Valrie yelled back to me before exiting the attic. "Yeah that's all." I said with a smile as I finished packing some food Valrie lent me and clothes. "I'm going to miss this place…" I say a little teary-eyed.
"You can always stay-" Valrie was saying before I cut her off. "I don't want to be more of a burden then I already am Sis. Besides the place I found is very nice." I say with a smile on my face as I hug her.
"Take care Valrie, and thank you for raising me" I say with a smile as I grab all my stuff and start leaving the house. "I'm going to visit you every holiday" Valrie says with tears in her eyes.
"Come on…I don't deserve that hell" I say smugly and teasingly.
"Fuck you Sammy" Valrie says after lightly punching my shoulder and hugging me after. "I'm going to miss you Sammy." Valrie says with a smile.
"Well I'm off, just like Ash was at the age of 10!" I exclaim and step down the small steps in the front door.
"You and your Pokemon references…Well take ca-SAMMY WATCH OUT!!" She suddenly says in worry as I step off the last step.
"What are you scre-" I start trying to say as a Truck hits me and sends me flying away.
"CRAASSH!!"
Valrie immediately rushes down to my body as it bleeds profusely. "NO…SAMMY WAKE UP!!" She says with tears in her face as she shakes my body.
Shortly after I'm taken to the hospital and my sister sits next to me. She is holding my hand as she watches the heart rate monitor with tears in her eyes…The machine beeps less and less until… the flatline sound rings.
"No…" Valrie cries as she processes my death, crying into my chest.
"I'm so sorry for your loss ma'am" the doctor says with a sad look on his face.
