Ever since I was young, I had been watching a story about heroes and heroin in television and manga for most of my childhood.
I had watch them fight against evil, protect and fight for other, always have an evil character as their enemy. Sometimes they work together with their friends or sometimes they work alone.
Some of heroes in story have their own speciality like, not easily give up, have super power, being unique than the other, have incredible luck, being intelligent, and sometimes had power of friendship.
Adventure, drama, comedy, also horror...
That make me realize something about this harsh reality of life. Something that make a big change in my way of living. That is...
... to became a side character.
Why is that? Well, because I don't like get myself in trouble and complicated situation. By becoming a side character, I don't have or don't really have to get involved in that.
I want to have a freedom that I can do whatever I want without have to spend much of my money, energy and moral to get them!
If I can, I want to be a neet when I am adult!
But unfortunately, even if I had been became normal and keep my 'side character' act, I still can't run from a tragic and pitiful death, nor did any of us can isn't it.
Because, even before I could get to feel in love relationship, I already die at a very young age.
Not one, but two times. Please ask me why and how I can die two times.
The reason of my death in my first life is because I get a shot for three times on my chest by some scary adult in the middle of the night.
It hurts so much. The feel of your soul leaving your body is so much hurt than being shot by a bullet. If I can describe it, it must feel like as if your veins being pulled out slowly yet so fast for me not manage to have proper breathing.
Anyway, when I thought that I was dying and that's the end at that times, I was suddenly wake up in a body of baby. I live an healthy life as a cheerful energetic young child. Play with other kids, get educational, for sometimes get eat a tasty food, if I get lucky, I can get a candy.
I also make sure that to be more extra careful to not get myself in danger or doing something that can cause my death like being popular or eye-catching.
But we all know that fate is kind of unexpect sometimes.
I got cancer at my 15th birthday.
Really unexpected right?
Because of that, I can't go anywhere and must take a proper rest in my room. My activity and movement was limited as my body aren't so strong like before and very fragile. It make me think sometimes, this is why some old grandpa and grandma miss the times when they're youth.
I didn't spend much time in this life since I die two years after that. Quite younger than my first life.
And I feel the death for the second time.
Hah... Then here when I thought that that life was my last chance, I was sent wake up in a body of young child.
She almost had the same name and face like me.
The moment I wake up and realized that the God had give me another chance to live, I suddenly cough a blood and I immediately fainted on my bed. I didn't even get get out from my bed yet at that time.
And right now, I was resting in my bed. In my room.
"Sae-chan, how are you feeling right now?" A young woman who wear a white gown that similar to old nurses uniform walk over to Sae.
Sae get her attention away from looking at outside on the window to the female nurse before nodding her head.
"Uhm, I feel better than before." She smile cheerfully to the nurse. Even so, it can never hide the fact of how skinny and pale she is making the nurse feel a great pity and feel bad for her. But of course Sae didn't know what was the nurse was thinking about.
And just a while after the nurse think about it, there is an interruption from a machine like voice in Sae's mind.
'[Your favourity from a nurse, Jenny Will had gained +10]' Then there is a blue visible like screen pop out in front of Sae. [You had gained favourity +10]
["Ah, the kid look so sick but she still keep a cheerful smile just to hide how hurt she actually is so she wouldn't make anyone worry"]

Sae glaring at the board angrily that just float in front of her.
"Something wrong Sae-chan?" The nurse ask Sae as she see her keep looking at nothing, or at least that is what the nurse think.
"No no. There is nothing. I just thinking if I ever get candy again, that's all." Sae smile at the nurse and slyly cover up.
"Hahaha, is that so?
"Well maybe if you obediently eat the medicine, maybe you get a candy as your reward." The nurse say as she hand a wood bowl that had green liquid in it.
'Ugh.'
Sae can't do anything but just accept and take it with both of her small and skinny hand. She look at the dark green and thick liquid that smell a strong of herb.

She look back at the bowl in her hand before she gathered her enough courage and drink the medicine. Not even leaving a drop of it even though how bitter it taste because afraid that it will wasted the health and stamina.
After a while, Sae finally finished her medicine and hand over the empty bowl back to the female nurse while the nurse take it with a happy smile as if she just witnessed a baby manage to walk by themselves for the first time.
"Yay, this is the third time you finish your medicine.
" If you keep this up, maybe you can be recover more faster."
The nurse put the empty bowl at a tray before she get her hand into her pocket. She walk back to Sae's side and take her small hand for her to put a candy that being wrapped in pink wrapper.

"Here, as the promise."
"Thank you so much Jenny big sister!" Sae say happily before she unwrapped the candy then eat it.
The nurse smile at Sae before she petting her head and bit her goodbye before she get out from her room with a tray of empty medicine bowl. Leaving her alone in the small wooden room.
After a while, Sae sigh and slowly get up from her bed. She slightly had shiver on her back as her feet make a contact with the slightly cold floor.
She slowly walk to the open window where she had been had been watched over the view of outside.
Now that I think about it, it had been quite a while since the last time I did check my status.

Before Sae K reincarnation
Orphanage
It's now was in the middle of the night. There is heavy rain keep pouring outside of building of orphanage. For the time right now, most of people had been sleeping but there is one elder man walking at the hallway with an oil lamp in his hand.
He is the one who had been managing the orphanage. Norren Demis, 47 years old.
Right now, he just finished doing his job to patrolling around the room where the children of orphanage was sleeping. He was on the way back to his office to finish some of document before he also get to bed.
But on the way, he suddenly hear a faint sound that are unusual for this kind of time. He stop from his track and focus to hear what the sound of it. At first he just thought that it's just his own imagination because of how tired he is but after a while, he catch what kind the sound is it.
'There is someone knocking the door?'
He focusing to follow where the faint sound is and after the long walk, it guide him to the back door of orphanage. How can the sound of simple knock manage to reach his ear even though in this kind of heavy rain. Who know. Unlocking the door and pull it to see just the outside that rainning, there is no one there. Just before he thought of closing the door, realized that there is something in front of him.
He look down to his feet and just to see a large basket that are being covered by a red cloth on top of it.
Slightly and carefully take off the cloth, he see a baby that sleeping soundly despite in this kind of situation and weather. Seems like a cloth is thick enough to keep the baby warm from the harsh cold night and weather.
Bend down and pick up the baby carefully and slowly to out from the basket afraid that the baby might had some wound or something. As he pick up the baby, the baby suddenly wake up from her sleep and crying in the arm of the man. Make he surprise a bit.
Carefully look over the body of the baby while he tried to calm her and feel slightly glab that the baby didn't had any wound and the fact that the way she crying means that she is healthy child.
While he examining the baby, he also take a not a feature of the baby. She had hair color that similar to Aquamarine but a bit lighter. Dark red eyes color and white pale skin color. She also had a bird mark on her left shoulder.
After a while as he want to take her to some caretaker and grab the basket, he noticed a there is a letter that neatly put there. It seems like he didn't realize it early because the letter was being put under the cloth that wrapped around the baby.
Take the letter with his other hand and unfolded the letter, he read them and slightly chuckle a bit. Glance down to the baby that had calming down and go back to sleep.
"It seems like at least your parents still care a bit about you.
"Well, nice to meet you Sae. From now on, you will be under my care."
