"Ugh! Where am I?" a man mumbled as he slowly opened his eyes, only to find that he was drifting in an endless void. "What?" The man panicked, feeling his heartbeat quickening, "Where is this place?" the man asked out loud, but got no response. He could see small motes of light in the distance that were shining like stars in space, "Aren't I dead?" the man questioned again, thinking back to the moment when a truck hit him. "Huh, if I were in the mood, I would think that I was getting reincarnated," the man joked as he tried to turn around and observe his surroundings. He looked around for a while and, after some time, something caught the man's attention. "Should I check it out?" the man wondered. But then he shrugged his shoulders and thought, "I mean, I don't have anything else to do when I'm floating in the literal void!" He then tried to flail his arms as if he were swimming, but no matter how many times he swung his arms, he was still like a rock. "Ugh! This place is annoying! How do I move around?" the man thought out loud. He then tried different poses from trying to run, swim, superman pose, everything, but no matter what he did, he stayed stagnant. "All right, fucking move!" the man yelled in frustration as a deep frown took root on his face. And as if on cue, the moment the man said it, he began to move. "Aha! So you are a masochist, huh!" the man wondered with a grin, "Then move, you dumb bitch!" He didn't know who he was cursing, but the more he cursed, the more he moved. But what the man didn't understand was that he needed to exert his will, not curse it; as soon enough, no matter how much he cursed, he didn't move a single inch."Tch! What, do I have to spank you now?" the man said in irritation. The man then tried to spank the space but to no avail, "Hah! Move!" and so he did, and that is when the man understood that he needed to use his will. He willed himself to move further, and his pace kept increasing, and the man could see something in the distance. "What is it?" He wondered. The more he got closer to whatever it was, the brighter the surroundings got. "So bright!" he exclaimed as he squinted his eyes and tried to look at the thing. It was a ball, a smooth golden ball the size of his fist, with no blemishes; it radiated intense golden light while exuding a deep low hum. The man tilted his head as the ball piqued his interest. He then willed himself to get closer to the ball. The closer he got, the clearer the ball became. "What are those symbols?" the man questioned as he gazed at the strange black symbols that ran across the ball. "I wonder if I can touch it?" the man thought as he extended his hand, getting closer and closer to the ball. The moment the man's hand came into contact with the ball, it shone brightly, almost blinding the man. "Ahh! Too bright! Too bright!" the man yelled. WOOONGThen a sudden deep hum echoed through the space, creating ripples in the void. "W-What's happening?" the man panicked as his heart thumped against his chest. He tried to pull back his hand, but no matter how much strength he put in, his hand didn't budge an inch. "W-What!?" SIZZLE SIZZLEThe ball shone even brighter, radiating intense heat, as it slowly began to fry the man's hand, "Ahhh! AHHHH!"The ball shone brighter and brighter until its light illuminated the whole void, and then,WOOOPEverything disappeared; the lights in the distance, the man, the ball, everything disappeared, and what was left was the void itself. ...In an unknown world,A young man is lying in his bed, as if sleeping peacefully. He has long brown hair and pale skin. Beside him was an incense stick that burned as it let out a fragrance that calmed one's mind. Then suddenly, the man forcefully opened his eyes, revealing his two emerald-green pupils, "Ahhhh!" The man screamed in sheer terror as he sat up in his bed. "Haaah haaah!" His chest heaved up and down as he took deep breaths to calm himself down. He then looked at his hands only to be shocked as he realised, 'These aren't mine…'He then frantically looked around, trying to get a sense of things, but only became more confused as he did not know this bedroom. The bedroom was filled with luxurious items, from various vases filled with exotic flowers and Chinese styled paintings. It even had a writing station with parchment and an inkstone on the desk to his right. 'Where even am I—' before he could finish his thought, a sudden pain assaulted his mind as he clutched his head tightly. The pain was so much that the man couldn't even scream in agony. Drool began to drip out of his mouth, and a few minutes later, his eyes rolled back and the man lost his consciousness. Another few hours later, the man regained his consciousness, and this time, the man didn't panic. His gaze wasn't foreign anymore as he gazed around the room with familiarity; he then looked at his hands, his green eyes shining as he thought, "I transmigrated… huh."
