Chapter 59 - They Lost.

Bang!

As cracks spread through the air, a deafening explosion tore through the battlefield. The once-mighty Susanoo disintegrated into countless fragments of blue chakra, dissipating into the air like powder.

"How…how did Susanoo disappear?"

"No… it wasn't just gone—it was shattered by Kirito's sword!"

"Impossible! Isn't Susanoo supposed to be invincible?"

"The ultimate defense of the Sharingan… defeated with a single strike? How could this be?"

The onlookers were in disbelief, their voices echoing with shock and confusion as they watched the remnants of Susanoo fade away.

However, two figures, Hashirama and Tobirama Senju, stood quietly on the sidelines. They understood Susanoo's true power far better than the others.

Hashirama, known as the God of Shinobi, spoke with measured seriousness, "That sword… It's something extraordinary. In my prime, I don't know if I could have stood against such power."

Tobirama, ever the realist, narrowed his eyes. "It's not just the weapon—it's the man wielding it. Kirito is not someone to be underestimated."

Sarutobi Hiruzen, injured but alive, had been watching the entire battle. He could still feel the chilling aura of Kirito's attack, which had briefly darkened the sky. "Susanoo… shattered so easily," he muttered, his respect for Kirito turning to an uneasy sense of awe.

Meanwhile, Sasuke stared in awe at the man who had just shattered the ultimate defense of the Uchiha clan. His hands clenched into fists as he resolved, I have to learn from him. If I can achieve even a fraction of that strength, I'll finally be able to avenge my clan.

Naruto, on the other hand, couldn't contain his excitement. "Whoa! Kirito-sensei is so cool!" he yelled, jumping up and down with boundless energy.

On the battlefield, Obito stumbled backward, coughing up blood. His normally calm and calculating demeanor was replaced with disbelief and anger. "How… how is this possible? My Susanoo, the ultimate ninjutsu, destroyed so easily by one strike?"

His mind raced. This man... Kirito... How could someone like him exist in this era? If he were around during the time of Madara and Hashirama, he would have been their equal—or even surpassed them.

Obito clenched his fists, his voice shaking with rage. "You… you shouldn't even exist! How can someone like you wield such power in this age?"

Kirito stood calmly, his demeanor as serene as ever. He did not respond to Obito's desperate accusations; there was no need to. His strength spoke for itself.

For the first time, Orochimaru's confident smirk faltered. His mind replayed the moment Susanoo crumbled like paper beneath Kirito's sword. "Even with all my preparations," Orochimaru muttered, "we can't win this fight. Not against him."

Still, Obito's pride wouldn't let him back down. But before he could act, Orochimaru shouted, "Stop wasting time, Obito! If you're going to fight, fight smart. If not, we need to retreat!"

Obito hesitated, his frustration mounting. The Moon Eye Plan, his grand vision, couldn't end here. "Fine," he growled, making his way to Orochimaru. He activated his Kamui Sharingan to escape with Orochimaru.

However, Kakashi, his former comrade, stepped forward. His own Sharingan flared to life, transforming into the Mangekyō Sharingan. "You're not going anywhere, Obito!" Kakashi declared.

Obito's space-distorting Kamui faltered as Kakashi's Mangekyō disrupted it. Obito glared at his old friend with fury. "Kakashi… you of all people should understand. Why stand in my way?"

"I understand you," Kakashi said, his voice firm. "But I can't let you destroy this village or the people in it."

Meanwhile, in the shadows, Kisame chuckled nervously as he watched the confrontation. "Itachi, shouldn't we help Obito? He is part of the Akatsuki, after all."

Itachi's cold gaze didn't waver. "Helping him would mean opposing Kirito. That's a risk we can't afford."

Kisame frowned but nodded in agreement.

Realizing the odds were no longer in their favor, Obito scowled. "Orochimaru, we have no choice but to retreat."

But just as Obito prepared to try Kamui again, Kirito raised his hand, his energy dissipating. The golden light that had enveloped him faded, and his expression relaxed.

"I'm done," Kirito said casually. "You're not worth my time."

The battlefield froze in stunned silence. Even Obito and Orochimaru seemed confused.

Sarutobi Hiruzen stepped forward, incredulous. "Kirito, why stop now? You could finish this!"

Kirito glanced at him and shrugged. "Because I don't need to. They've already lost."

Orochimaru's face twisted in frustration, and Obito clenched his teeth. They knew Kirito was right. Even without lifting another finger, his dominance was absolute.

With that, Kirito turned and walked back to Yuhi Kurenai, his casual demeanor leaving everyone bewildered.

As the remnants of the enemy retreated, the battlefield erupted into cheers. For Konoha, the day had been won—not with overwhelming force, but by the sheer presence of a single man: Kirito.
