Jack: (protectively) We won't let that happen.

Grandma's Ghost: (laughs) You can't stop it. It's too powerful.

(Suddenly, the door bursts open, and a dark, shadowy figure looms in the doorway.)

Grandma's Ghost: (smirks) It's time for the sacrifice. Who will it be this year?

Mary: (desperate) Take me! Leave my family alone!

Jack: (firmly) No, Mary. I won't let that happen.

(The entity begins to laugh, a sound that sends chills down their spines.)

Lucy: (screams) Mom!

Nora: (whimpers) Daddy!

Mary: (squints) What's happening?

Jack: (looks around) I don't know, but I think it's something good.

(As their eyes adjust, they see a figure standing in the doorway, radiating a warm, golden light.)

Lucy: (excitedly) It's Santa!

Nora: (smiles) Santa!

Santa Claus: (smiles warmly) Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas, my dear family.

Grandma's Ghost: (scowls) No! You can't interfere!

Santa Claus: (firmly) Oh, but I can. And I will.

(The entity lets out a deafening scream as Santa Claus raises his hand, and a blast of holy energy shoots out, engulfing the entity.)

Grandma's Ghost: (wails) No! My master!

(The entity dissipates into nothingness, banished by Santa's holy power.)

Mary: (tearfully) Thank you, Santa.

Jack: (gratefully) We owe you one.

Santa Claus: (smiles warmly) Ho ho ho! No need to thank me, my dear family. It's all part of the job.

(As the family breathes a sigh of relief, they hear the sound of sleigh bells outside...)

Chapter 30: A Christmas Miracle

(The scene opens with the family hearing the sound of sleigh bells outside, growing louder with each passing moment.)

Mary: (excitedly) Do you hear that?

Jack: (smiles) It's Santa's sleigh!

(The family rushes to the window and looks out, seeing Santa's sleigh landing on the front lawn.)

Lucy: (squeals) Santa's coming!

Nora: (excitedly) Santa!

(Santa Claus steps out of the sleigh, a big smile on his face, and a bag of presents slung over his shoulder.)

Santa Claus: (ho ho ho) Merry Christmas, my dear family!

(The family rushes outside to greet Santa, who begins handing out presents.)

Mary: (tearfully) This is the best Christmas ever.

Jack: (smiles) Thanks to Santa.

(As they open their presents, the family realizes that Santa has brought them more than just gifts – he's brought them a second chance at happiness.)
