Chapter 4: Unsettling Discoveries
(The scene opens with the family beginning to unpack and settle into Grandma's mansion.)
Mary: (assigns tasks) Okay, Lucy, can you help me unpack the decorations? Jack, can you check the fireplace and make sure it's working?
Jack: (nods) Got it.
Nora: (excitedly) Mommy, Mommy! Can I help decorate the tree?
Mary: (smiles) Of course, sweetie. Let's get started.
(As they work, Lucy begins to explore the house, wandering into the library.)
Lucy: (calls out) Mom! Come see what I found!
Mary: (enters the library) What is it, Lucy?
Lucy: (holds up an old book) This book is really old. And look, it's got Grandma's name in it.
Mary: (takes the book) Oh, wow. This must have been Grandma's favorite book.
(As Mary flips through the pages, she notices strange symbols and markings. Suddenly, the lights in the room begin to flicker.)
Mary: (nervously) Lucy, I think we should get out of here.
Lucy: (nods) Yeah, this room is giving me the creeps.
(As they leave the library, they hear a strange whispering in the hallway.)
Nora: (excitedly) Mommy, Mommy! Do you hear that?
Mary: (nervously smiles) Oh, it's just the wind, sweetie.
Jack: (concerned) Mary, I think we should check the house and make sure everything is okay.
Mary: (nods) Yeah, that's a good idea.
(As they begin to search the house, they start to uncover disturbing secrets and clues that suggest Grandma's mansion is not as empty as they thought...)
Chapter 5: Disturbing Discoveries
(The scene opens with the family searching the house, room by room.)
Jack: (calls out) Mary, come see what I found!
Mary: (enters the room) What is it?
Jack: (holds up an old photograph) This picture was hidden behind a vase. Look at the date.
Mary: (gasps) 1952. That's the year Grandma's husband died.
Lucy: (enters the room) What's going on?
Mary: (shows her the photograph) We found this old picture.
Lucy: (examines the photograph) Who's that woman in the background?
Mary: (shrugs) I don't know.
Nora: (tugs on Mary's coat) Mommy, Mommy! I'm scared!
Mary: (reassures her) It's okay, sweetie. We're just looking at some old pictures.
(Suddenly, a loud bang echoes from upstairs.)
Jack: (concerned) What was that?
Mary: (nervously) I don't know. Let's go check.
(The family cautiously makes their way upstairs, where they find a door slightly ajar.)
Lucy: (whispers) Mom, I think we should be careful.
Mary: (nods) You're right. Let's just take a peek.
(Mary slowly pushes open the door, revealing a room filled with strange and ominous objects...)
