Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: The War Within the War

Joe's intense training over the last few weeks had taken him to another level. He was no longer just a fighter, but also a great test of his spirit. Each training session not only strengthened him physically, but also mentally. As he trained, he listened to his body's signals and gained a little more stamina after each blow.

One evening, Joe was working out with the speed bag when the door to the gym opened and a familiar voice was heard.

"How about this?"

Joe turned to the direction of the voice. Standing before him was his old friend Mark, holding two new sets of gloves.

"I was expecting you to call me here," Mark said with a smile. "I thought I might see more. Do you think you're ready?"

Joe hesitated for a moment, but then nodded and walked over to Mark. "Preparing for you will be even more challenging."

Mark smiled, but there was seriousness in his eyes. "I'm saying this for you, Joe. Your physical strength alone is not enough. There's a limit to everything today. So your mind needs to be ready as much as your body."

Joe turned Mark's words over in his head as he put on his gloves. "I have to push my mind to its limit."

---

Joe's training sometimes went to a certain point, but he always tried to push himself one step further. However, as always, pushing his limits could cause his body and mind to collapse at some point. One day, after a hard workout in the middle of the gym, Joe suddenly fell to his knees. His breathing was rapid, his body covered in sweat.

Jackson ran over and touched Joe's back. "Don't do this, Joe," he said worriedly. "You don't have to push so hard."

Joe looked up at Jackson. "I'm giving it my all to reach my goal, Jackson," he said. "My mind and body have to endure this."

But Jackson helped him up, putting a smile on his face. "You can do this, Joe. But remember, limits test you. But they don't destroy you."

Joe stood up again, feeling the pain in his body. The determination inside him was growing stronger every day. "I will be stronger. And I will do everything for that."

Joe's training was now testing not only his physical limits, but also his mental toughness. Boxing was not just a physical battle for him, but also a spiritual one. And Joe was determined to increase his physical and mental strength by taking one step at a time. His path was long, difficult, and uncertain. But one thing was certain: Joe would continue to write a new heroic story by pushing his own limits.
