Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Rise of the clan

Decades passed in Risha, though Adrian never aged beyond his early twenties. The Black System ensured that, granting him strength, speed, and abilities far beyond human limits. Through trial and bloodshed, he carved a path of survival, rising from a lowly wanderer to a figure of legend.

The turning point came when he encountered the Forgotten Archives, a hidden ruin brimming with knowledge of the Void—a primordial force that few dared to control. With the Void Arts, Adrian's power grew exponentially, and he used this knowledge to establish the Zold' Clan, a bastion of strength in the chaotic world of Risha.

The Zold' Clan quickly became renowned for its mastery of spearmanship, swordsmanship, and martial prowess. But its true strength lay in the Bloodline Awakening, a phenomenon unique to Adrian's descendants. Each child born into the clan inherited the memories and skills of their ancestors, creating a lineage of warriors who grew stronger with each generation.

Under Adrian's leadership, the Zold' Clan rose to prominence, rivaling the greatest powers of Risha. He became known as the Void Sovereign, a title that struck fear into his enemies and inspired unwavering loyalty among his followers.

But power came with its own challenges. Rival clans, jealous of the Zold' Clan's meteoric rise, sought to destroy them. Adrian met each challenge head-on, wielding his spear—Chastifol—with deadly precision and leading his clan to victory time and time again.

A thousand years passed in Risha, though Adrian's heart never stopped yearning for home. Then, one day, the portal reappeared.

He stood at the edge of the shimmering gateway, his expression unreadable. Behind him, his descendants knelt in reverence, their eyes filled with both sorrow and pride.

"Are you sure, Father?" one of them asked. "The Zold' Clan needs you."

Adrian turned, his gaze softening. "You don't need me anymore. The clan is strong, and you'll carry on the legacy."

With those parting words, he stepped through the portal.

Adrian braced himself for the familiar sights and sounds of Earth. Instead, he found himself in a world even harsher than Risha.

The sky was a bleak shade of gray, and the air crackled with energy. Massive beasts roamed the land, and the weak were hunted without mercy.

"Where am I now?" he muttered, scanning his surroundings.

The Black System answered.

[Welcome to the Second World.]

[Survive, Adapt, Conquer.]

A bitter laugh escaped Adrian's lips. "Another test, huh?"

But this time, he wasn't starting from scratch. Armed with the knowledge of Risha, he quickly rose through the ranks, mastering the rules of this brutal world. He established another clan, one built on neutrality and balance, and carved out a sanctuary for those seeking refuge.

Eventually, his power grew to the point where he ascended to the upper dimension of Murim, the realm of immortals.

Years later, standing atop the highest peak of Murim, Adrian gazed into the horizon. He had become a god in three worlds, a being of unrivaled strength.

But when the portal appeared once more, a sense of foreboding filled his heart.

This time, it took him back to Earth.

Emerging from the rift, Adrian found himself standing in the middle of a chaotic battlefield. Monsters from another dimension roamed freely, and humans fought desperately to survive.

He stopped a passing soldier, his voice urgent. "What year is this?"

The soldier stared at him in confusion. "It's July 15, 2030."

Adrian's eyes widened. "Four months… before I was taken."

His fists clenched as he surveyed the devastation around him.
