Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Artemisia's wedding took place in Caria's grand palace, adorned with intricate frescoes and precious metals. The entire kingdom gathered to witness the union of their queen and her husband. The ceremony began with traditional rituals, including the exchange of vows and gifts.

As they stood before the altar, Artemisia's gaze lingered on her husband, sizing him up. She couldn't help but feel uneasy, sensing that something wasn't right about him. During the celebration, however, she forced herself to enjoy the festivities, dancing and drinking with her guests.

However, later that night, after everyone had retired, Artemisia snuck out of her chamber, dressed in a revealing robe that revealed her voluptuous figure. She wandered alone through the dark corridors, her mind consumed by thoughts of revenge. Suddenly, she heard footsteps approaching. Turning around, she saw him, his eyes glittering with lust.

"My dear wife," he purred, his voice low and seductive. "I've been waiting for this moment."

Before she could react, he pinned her against the wall, his lips crushing against hers forcefully. His hands tore at her robe, exposing her bare breasts and flat stomach. "You're mine now," he growled, his voice full of desire.

Artemisia struggled to break free, but he was stronger than she had anticipated. "Let me go!" she shouted, squirming in his hold.

"Oh, but I won't," he whispered, his hot breath brushing against her ear. "You're my woman now"

With renewed determination, Artemisia summoned all her strength and brought her knee up, connecting solidly with his groin. The impact sent waves of pain coursing through him, and he released her, doubled over in agony. Artemisia quickly retrieved her discarded robe and hastily dressed herself.

"Never touch me like that again," she growled, her voice cold and threatening. "Or else..."

Her gaze hardened, and he flinched involuntarily. "Understand me well, husband," she continued, "I am mine alone, and I will deny you anything less than what I choose to give. Remember that."

With that ominous warning, Artemisia stormed back to her chambers.

Over the years, Artemisia focused on consolidating her power and ensuring the prosperity of Caria. She established trade agreements with neighboring kingdoms, expanding her realm's influence and wealth. Under her rule, Halicarnassus flourished, becoming known for its bustling markets and grand palaces.

"My queen, you've done wonders for our city," a merchant named Menelaus approached her during a public audience. "May the gods bless you and your reign."

"Thank you, Menelaus," she replied, her eyes flashing with satisfaction. "Your support means much to me. Now, what business brings you here today?"

He bowed and handed her a scroll, explaining the details of a lucrative trade deal with a distant kingdom. "It would greatly benefit our coffers, Your Majesty," he added, his voice trembling with anticipation.

Artemisia nodded, her mind already calculating the potential gains. "Approved," she said curtly. "Send word to negotiate the terms immediately."

Some time later, Artemisia found herself alone with her husband again, this time under more pleasant circumstances. They were discussing state matters, their bodies separated by the desk between them. Suddenly, he cleared his throat, his voice husky with desire. "Your Majesty, I... uh..."

"What is it?" she asked, her eyes narrowing suspiciously. She knew what he wanted, but she wasn't going to make it easy for him.

He swallowed hard, his Adam's apple bobbing visibly. "I... I thought perhaps... we could... you know..."

Artemisia raised an eyebrow, her lips curving into a smirk. "Is that so?" she purred, standing up from her seat and slowly making her way around the desk. Her movements were hypnotizing, designed to tease and tantalize.

Reaching him, she placed her hands on his shoulders, leaning forward until her breasts brushed against his chest. "What do you propose, my husband?" she whispered, her breath caressing his ear.

The king's breath hitched, and he shifted in his seat, his arousal evident through his robes. "I... I... I want you," he managed to croak out, his voice hoarse with desire.

Artemisia smiled, leaning closer, her breasts brushing against his chest, her breasts pushing against his chest. "That's better," she purred, her voice low and seductive. "Now, undress yourself slowly," she instructed, her eyes challenging him to refuse.

Reluctantly, he fumbled with his robes, revealing first his toned torso, then his muscular physique, and finally his hardened member, straining against his pants. "Now, it's my turn," she said, her voice dripping with malice.

Artemisia stepped back, revealing her own lithe figure, clad in a thin, translucent dress that accentuated her curves. Her breasts were full and perky, her nipples hardening in anticipation. Slowly, she unfastened the clasp holding her dress together, letting it fall to the floor, revealing her plump ass and the trimmed patch of hair between her legs. "How do I look?" she asked, arching her back provocatively.

He groaned, unable to control himself any longer. He lunged forward, but before he could reach her, though, Artemisia pushed him away forcefully, her strength surprising him. "Not yet, my dear," she sneered, her voice cold and harsh. "You're mine to enjoy whenever I please."

With a smirk, she pulled on her dress and left the room, leaving him panting and frustrated.

The following day, Artemisia received a formal visit from General Mardonius, a trusted advisor of King Xerxes. He entered her chambers bearing gifts, including fine wine and lavish fabrics, symbolizing their alliance. After exchanging pleasantries, he got straight to the matter at hand.

"Your Majesty, King Xerxes wishes to discuss your role in the upcoming campaign against the Greeks. He believes your naval expertise will prove invaluable. Would you be willing to join him in this endeavor?"

Artemisia sipped from her cup of wine, considering his request. "I have always been loyal to Persia," she finally said, her voice low and thoughtful. "However, my people's lives are also precious to me. I must consider their safety before committing to war."

"Of course, Your Majesty," Mardonius replied, his eyes scanning her body appraisingly. "May I escort you outside?"

"No need, General," she replied, standing up and walking towards the balcony. "I believe I can see the sea from here."

As they stood side by side, overlooking the azure waters beyond the city walls, Mardonius couldn't resist the temptation. "Your beauty knows no bounds, Queen Artemisia," he whispered in her ear, his breath hot against her neck. "I've heard tales of your... prowess on the battlefield. Perhaps we could... explore each other's strengths together?"

Artemisia turned her head slightly, her eyes flashing with amusement. "And what makes you think I would be interested in sharing my bed with another man besides my husband?" she teased, her voice low and husky.

"Well, Your Majesty," he said, taking a step closer, their bodies brushing against each other. "I'm not just any man. I am a Persian general, destined for greatness. And besides," he added, his hand reaching out to caress her exposed shoulder, "your husband wouldn't have to know."

Her heart raced, but she maintained her composure, her eyes cold and unreadable. "That's quite bold of you, General," she purred, her breath quickening.
