Clara's POV- Nine Months Later...
Beep...Beep...
All I could hear was the incessant beeping...It reminded me of my time in the hospital, a place I hate. I just want it to stop and to never hear that sound again. I just wanted to wake up and be with Mr. Svarog, Pascal, and everyone else.
I can't stand hospitals, or the people in white coats with badges. I'm not a fan of needles, and I dislike everything associated with that environment. Then, I heard more beeping, and it sounded like someone was moving nearby. It could be Pascal or Mr. Svarog.
I was thrilled to hear Pascal's voice after so long. It made me want to hug him tightly, but I overheard him discussing my health.
"Clara's condition is healthy, and so are her mind and body; no changes have occurred." Pascal said aloud. The beeping noises from him indicated that he was using the database I had created for all the robots to monitor my well-being from Protocol Preservation, which made me feel even happier that this Protocol works.
Creating the database was not as easy as it looked and took several months to complete. After finishing making Mr. Svarog, I needed to finish the program that would command the other robots. This involved using codes and programming that I hadn't learned before. I used the system for guidance to help me complete the database.
Additionally, I installed the database program on both Mr. Svarog and Pascal. This way, if something happened to either one or both of them, I could manually take over the database if necessary.
"Mr. Svarog must have used Protocol Preservation and instructed Pascal to check on me to see if I was okay. I need to find a way to thank Mr. Svarog. Maybe I can plan something for him. I'll begin working on those plans once I wake up completely." I said to myself thinking of what to give Mr.Svarog as a gift later on.
A couple of hours passed when I suddenly heard a noise—the system's notification alert. As I looked around, I noticed a blue screen in front of me. My eyes lit up with happiness as I read the message displayed on the screen. I was shocked by how much time had actually passed.

I opened my eyes...or at least I tried to...but the bright light made me want to close them forever. Still, I needed to check on everyone. I reluctantly opened my eyes halfway and stood up from the comfortable bed.
As I looked around, I saw it was the room I had created with Mr. Svarog's help, I recalled the pink paint and brushes I had brought back from the store. This room wasn't much, but it also served as the workshop where I built every robot, starting with Mr. Svarog. Suddenly, I heard the sound of metal footsteps approaching. I turned to my left and saw Pascal standing there for a few moments before he ran in front of me to perform a quick scan.
"Clara! You're awake!" Pascal said which made me smile and I nodded at him which caused him to cheer by jumping in joy.
"Pascal, where is Mr. Svarog?" I asked, looking around and behind him. Pascal seemed to freeze and start to sweat, which confused me since he was a robot.
"Umm, Clara, he's still rebooting!" Pascal said, causing me to tilt my head in confusion. Mr. Svarog was never supposed to reboot unless something or someone had entered his system, which was impossible unless they had my help.
"Pascal, Mr. Svarog isn't allowed to reboot unless something serious has happened within his system," I said as I removed the blanket covering me. I put on my red rabbit jacket and walked to the workshop across the room. I opened one of the cabinets to grab my red rabbit backpack. Inside was my laptop, I opened it up to check Mr. Svarog's system.
"Mr. Svarog's system isn't damaged, really! If anything, it's been improved with new codes that I honestly don't even understand." I said, looking for the button to stop Mr. Svarog's reboot and bring him back online, only to find that the reboot had already finished.
"Alright, nothing should be wrong with Mr. Svarog anymore. After all these codes don't seem dangerous to Mr. Svarog or the database." I said, turning Mr. Svarog on. It should take a couple of minutes for him to arrive at my location, so I turned around to look at Pascal.
"Thank you for taking care of me, Pascal. You can go back and check around the camp for any disturbances that may have occurred." I said as Pascal nodded and left my room. I sighed and walked back to my bed, then opened the system and clicked on [Status].

I read all the information that the system provided, and I was surprised to learn that Mr. Svarog saved me that day. I don't remember much because I hit my head on the metal wall, but I do wonder about how people have powers now. I wondered if Mr. Svarog would have powers if he had taken the dark matter from my body.
However, that couldn't be possible since Mr. Svarog is a robot. There were also new missions to consider, but before I could think about anything else, I heard loud footsteps approaching. I looked to my left, where the door had opened, and my smile returned as I saw Mr. Svarog walk in.
"Mr. Svarog! Are you alright?" I asked, my heart racing with worry. I couldn't help but think about the dark matter he had taken from me. I really didn't want to lose someone important like Mr. Svarog. Losing anyone close to me feels too heavy to bear.
"I am alright Clara. My body and functions haven't been tampered with nor have any of the dark matter corrupted my system or the database. I checked over 140 times." Mr.Svarog said causing me to smile happily while tearing up glad that he was okay.
"I'm so glad you're alright. I thought something bad had happened to you because of me!" I said, my voice trembling as I fought back tears in front of Mr. Svarog. Suddenly, I felt something gently patting my head. I looked up to see Mr. Svarog's hand softly brushing through my hair.
"It's alright Clara. It was to protect you I can't have you be hurt." Mr.Svarog said while petting my head causing me to nod and what he said.

I ignored the system notification, not caring at that moment, and focused only on Mr. Svarog and the consequences of the Particle Accelerator Explosion.
"Clara, I have calculated three times outside of Central City and found that the streets and roads are no longer safe. I recommend that either I or Pascal accompany you when you choose to leave." Mr. Svarog said, making me nod in agreement.
"I understand, Mr. Svarog. Is there anything else that has happened in the city?" I asked while getting off my bed. I walked over to my desk, grabbed a chair, and sat down, tinkering with some parts for the time being.
"According to many reports, I decided to hack into the Central City Police Department and received that there had been a robbery in different banks only to see nobody and disappear like he was controlling the weather." Mr. Svarog said causing me to stop and turn around to look at him with stars in my eyes.
"That means it's a supervillain with powers, Mr. Svarog! It's just like the books and comics you've shown me before. There must be a superhero coming to save the day, right?" I asked, eager to see a real superhero either in front of me or on the news.
"After multiple calculations, there haven't been any signs of a superhero that you are asking for Clara." Mr.Svarog said causing me to look down sad.
"There has to be someone to help people right Mr.Svarog?" I asked wanting to know if someone would help those people.
"Presently, I am unable to give you the right answer Clara." Mr.Svarog said as I nodded but still not giving up on a superhero showing up.
"It's alright, Mr. Svarog. For now, I would like to upgrade your system and functions at a later date, if that's acceptable to you?" I said. Mr. Svarog looked at me and nodded, which made me smile as I returned to my work.
After spending a few hours working in the workshop with Mr. Svarog's assistance, I was able to fix and upgrade many chips that I had been unable to check for nine months. I installed these upgraded chips in three Automaton Spiders and seven Automaton Grizzlies, enhancing their ability to withstand high explosions and freezing temperatures down to absolute zero. Additionally, I upgraded both Pascal and Mr. Svarog with Absolute Zero mechanical parts as well as Auto Repair mechanical parts.
"There we go, Mr. Svarog! Now you don't have to worry about me fixing you up every time you get damaged." I said with a smile after finishing the last upgrade for Mr. Svarog. Even though his auto-repair mechanical parts help, I still needed to check his system and repair any major damages if they occurred after all I rather not risk it. I also didn't have time to install the Flashtime mechanical parts into the chip, but I can do that later if necessary.
As I clicked off the database on my laptop and glanced at the time, I realized it was very late at night. It struck me how long it takes to repair, upgrade, and double-check that all the codes are reliable and usable. This process sometimes gives me a headache, as I have to ensure that nothing will cause the robots' systems or codes to malfunction. I was deep in thought, considering ways to streamline this process, when Mr. Svarog interrupted me with some news that filled me with excitement.
"Clara, there have been reports of a red streak going through the city at high speeds. The red streak has also helped police detain the person who robbed the bank and is named Clyde Mardon " Mr.Svarog said causing me to turn to him with excitement.
"Really! There's a superhero in the city!" I asked jumping in joy and excitement to see a real-life superhero in person and wanting to meet this superhero.
"Clara I suggest not making rash decisions on meeting this red streak." Mr.Svarog said causing me to put my head down a bit and understand I needed patience.
"Okay, Mr.Svarog I understand and I do need some more medicine for the people in the camp some are sick and some are not feeling very well and can't get any so I'll need to get them tomorrow." I said while planning on a small notepad on what to get from the shops and quickly come back to camp tomorrow. After all Pascal informed me on how the camps supplies have been going down since I've been gone for nine months.
What Clara didn't know was her getting medicine for "free" would cause a police report to try and catch her after not appearing for nine months only to appear again after the particle accelerator explosion making people at S.T.A.R labs suspicious of a new meta in the city in form of a little girl.
