Chapter 12 - Chapter 12

Alivia, after watching for a while, Alivia was surprised to find that it was her own classmate, Anya, sitting alone in the school garden.

He immediately approached Anya who was alone there.

"Anya, are you okay?" Alivia asked, concern written all over her face. She put her arm around Anya and gently pulled her to sit down.

"Liv, why... I just told Steven how I feel, but why do they hate me? I just want to express my feelings... why do I have to be treated like this, Liv?" Anya couldn't hold back her tears anymore. She looked down at her hands, feeling really unfair.

"It's not your fault, Anya. I think they're just jealous of you." Alivia hugged Anya because of the pain her friend felt.

"But why do they have to do this to me, Liv? I hate my life. Why do they mock me? Is it wrong for me to love someone I've loved for so long?" She said while crying.

"Anya, I've never mocked you. You're my friend. You still have me, Anya. Just forget what they did to you. There are still people who care about you." Alivia comforted her.

Just then, a boy approached them. "Why are you two looking so sad? I've been watching you from a distance." asked Irwan, their senior.

"It's nothing, senior." Alivia replied, wiping her tears.

"Oh... well, if you don't want to talk about it, let me walk you back to class. The bell's about to ring." Irwan offered kindly.

"Thank you, senior. Come on, Anya, let's go to class." Alivia said, coaxing Anya.

The three of them headed back to class.

After the bell rang, it was time for break.

Inside the classroom...

"Oh my god, Anya looks so shabby. She's so ugly." said one of the girls, part of a clique who was actually jealous of Anya because Steven had accepted her flowers.

"Oh my gosh, you don't know, she's so poor... and Alivia still wants to be friends with her, if it were me, no way." Fera immediately responded, her voice loud.

Alivia could only keep quiet, looking at her friend Anya. She was too scared of Fera and the other girls.

Anya, hearing this, felt a sharp pain in her heart. She could only sit there stiffly, not daring to look left or right. It felt like everyone was watching her.

Seeing Anya's distress, Alivia immediately approached her.

"Anya, let's get out of class. Let's buy some snacks and eat them in the school garden." Alivia whispered, trying to coax Anya to leave the increasingly tense atmosphere in the classroom.
