Chapter 7 - chapter 7

Tehila stood in the middle of her new apartment, a modest but cozy space that smelled faintly of fresh paint and new beginnings. The walls were a soft cream color, and the sunlight poured in through the large windows, illuminating the small living room. It was furnished with a simple couch, a coffee table, and a small dining set that she had picked out herself. It wasn't much, but it was hers.

She walked over to the window, looking out at the bustling streets of Summerville below. The sounds of the city filled her ears—laughter, the honking of cars, and the distant music from a nearby café. It was a stark contrast to the silence of her old home, where every sound had been laced with tension and fear.

Tehila smiled to herself, feeling a sense of freedom wash over her. She had done it. She had escaped. The thought sent a thrill through her, and she couldn't help but laugh softly. It felt surreal to finally be here, in a place where she could breathe without the weight of her past pressing down on her.

As she began to unpack her boxes, she found comfort in the small items that made her feel at home—her favorite books, a few framed photos of friends, and a small potted plant that she had nurtured for years. Each item was a reminder of who she was and who she wanted to become.

After a few hours of unpacking, Tehila decided to take a break. She made herself a cup of tea and settled onto the couch, allowing herself to relax for the first time in what felt like ages. She closed her eyes, letting the warmth of the sun wash over her, and for a moment, she simply existed—no expectations, no judgments, just peace.

But as the sun began to set, casting a warm glow across the room, a thought crept into her mind. What if she wasn't strong enough? What if the weight of her past came crashing down on her? She shook her head, pushing the thoughts away. She had made it this far, and she wasn't going to let fear dictate her future

With renewed determination, Tehila stood up and walked over to the window again. She looked out at the city, feeling a sense of belonging that she had never experienced before. This was her chance to start anew, to build a life that was truly hers.

As the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, Tehila made a silent promise to herself. She would not only survive; she would thrive. She would fill her new apartment with laughter, love, and the kind of joy that had been absent for so long. This was just the beginning, and she was ready to embrace whatever came next.

Soon she began to arrange her belongings also things to her taste and before she knew night fell.

"Tomorrow I will set out to buy new clothes and groceries, and treats especially for you my fluffy goodness ,please God help me"She said as she ruffled Mylo's body then she turned off the lights and slept off.....
