Chapter 1 - The accident

At around 6 in the morning, a boy was riding his KTM bike at a speed of nearly 120 km/hr, enjoying himself while heading back to his family after successfully setting up his business abroad for an entire year.

The bike was moving so fast that he didn't notice an Activa coming from the other side, and accidentally, both collided at a very high speed.

The Activa, after the collision, flipped over and skidded for some distance, while the bike went and fell near a bridge on the side of the highway.

The boy on the overturned bike couldn't handle himself due to the high speed and fell a little distance away from the bike.

When the person riding the Activa regained consciousness, they tried to see and understand the situation. Looking towards the bike, they could not see clearly. When they rubbed their eyes and tried again, they realized that they had been in an accident. Forgetting about their own condition, they stood up to see the driver of the bike. Their leg had scrapes, making it hard to walk properly, but dragging their foot, they began searching for the person.

A little distance away, near the bridge, smoke could be seen. They approached the bridge and saw that the person who had collided with them was none other than today's well-known businessman "Vishant Oberoi."

When they saw him, they tried to bring him back to consciousness. Vishant, still not fully conscious, faintly saw that a girl was trying to wake him up. In that state, all he could understand was that the Activa rider was a girl whose face was smeared with blood coming from his head wound.

The girl first looked at her phone and found that there were no network issues. She tried to start her Activa. At first, it didn't start, but then it did. She noticed that Vishant had lost a lot of blood and attempted to lift him. Due to Vishant's weight and height being greater than her own, she struggled to balance him but somehow managed to place him on her Activa.

However, because Vishant was not conscious, he kept falling to one side. The girl stopped her Activa and thought, "If this continues, it will be difficult to handle him, and we won't reach the hospital on time. He might lose his life on the way."

She noticed a scarf in her purse, her favorite one. Looking at it, she tied the scarf around his waist to keep him steady. Vishant's unconscious head rested on her shoulder, and at that moment, she realized she felt dizzy herself. Forgetting her injuries, she focused only on getting Vishant to the hospital safely.

When she came back to her senses, she realized the hospital was still about 20 minutes away. Increasing the speed of the Activa from 40 to 80, she thought, "If I don't reach the hospital in time, saving him will be impossible."

Thinking this, she sped up even more and managed to reach Mumbai's well-known City Hospital within 10 minutes.

When the hospital staff saw the condition, they said, "Madam, we cannot admit him; this is a police case. He can only be admitted after police investigation."

But then someone noticed him and said, "This is the famous businessman!" Immediately, Vishant was admitted.

The girl completed the basic formalities. A nurse, noticing the girl's injuries and that she was staggering, tried to say something, but before she could react, the girl fainted and collapsed. Seeing this, the staff admitted her as well.

The hospital staff checked her belongings and informed both families. Soon, both families arrived. Despite being in the same hospital, they acted as if they didn't know each other. Vishant's family proceeded towards his ward.

Meanwhile, the girl's family asked the receptionist about her condition. They were informed, "She has suffered a severe head injury and is currently in the operation theatre. She has lost a lot of blood, and her blood group is O-negative, which is quite rare and not easily available."

The nurse added, "We had the last unit of O-negative blood, but it was already used. We have sent mails to other hospitals for blood, but no reply has come yet. A family member will have to donate blood. It is very urgent because if blood isn't given immediately, she could lose her life due to excessive blood loss."

The girl's brother, Omkara, immediately said, "No, nurse, take my blood! I'm her brother. Our blood will be the same. Take my blood, just save Takshu... please, just save her!"

As he said this, Omkara broke down crying uncontrollably.
