[Mason o'connors] The beginning oh.. the beginning where to start.. Ah everybody always wonders what the future is going to hold. What it's gonna be like in the next hundred years I suppose i will be the one to let you know and guess what it's not what any of us were expecting at all... let's talk a little bit about what's happened to this world. Welcome to the future 2125 to be exact it is a cyber apocalypse nightmare where are the the rich and the corporate they run everything now such as funding, military might, economic decisions
And the future as a whole are in their hands. Corporate entities like the newgenesis foundation the strongest corporation in the world a massive corrupt corporation built off greed and the backs of the less fortunate and poor who are always promised better but never receive. Overall nothing more than overlords to us Civilians they have crippled the world in technological madness over their struggle for power and authority they ended up crippling and forging the entire world into this technologically Advanced hellscape you see before us. They even begin calling this world cyber earth as the new name of the planet, which used to be rich full of vegetation forests mountains all around teeming with beautiful nature, animals all complementing each other in one chain that kept everything running and everything was peaceful.. Well semi peaceful there was always human conflict, and there probably will always be human conflict but back then everyone could rely on each other.Unity, love and compassion for each other was the most important thing in the world back then. Now it is where corruption currency madness and power are that the top of the world . Now cybergangs are running wild, resistances are rising up against the corporate juggernauts and many more factions all fighting for power. The term regular people no longer has any meaning everybody is always trying to get their hands on the latest tech development so they can sergically implant it into themselves taking away the very things that make them human it's a severe and drastic grasp for power.. To this day i always wonder maybe things would be better as they were before.. Enough about that now. Maybe a little bit about me now.My name is Mason O'connors a humble local genius mechanic with a small privately owned workshop my knowledge of cyberware is better then most of the eggheads at those corporate giants I talked about before. However unlike those corporate entities, I'm mostly just a small time Local mechanic working on people's implants surgically modified mechanical augmented bodies and minds assisting them with repairs, helping them work out their new augments. Such as arms legs, even some of their brains, they swap out for one made of metal.. It's a very good way.. To make yourself less human I suppose.. Anyway unlike most of the world, I am still completely all flesh and blood i'm proud of it but trust me it comes with it's many challenges people viewing you as lesser.. and worthless.. Sometimes it would be easier just to go all metal like everyone else.. but i'll never let it come to that, no matter how much peer pressure everyone around me inflicks on me Or how much weaker they see me i will never give up that what makes me human my soul.. Sometimes I wonder if i'm the only one who still has one and just how much everybody else has sold theirs Already. but let's not dwell too much on these wonders. Let's start again with my workshop!, a state of the art mechanical laboratory i built every piece of it every tool, every computer, all by myself after my family left me to die simply because I chose to remain human ha ha.. I have been alone since i was about nine years old ha ha...ha. Anyway, it's time to push all those bad thoughts away and put a smile on your face once more That's always what keeps me going, a smile away keeps the crippling lonely reality away ha ha ha anyways back to more exciting things
