Robert William, a soon to be doctor, who just finished his residency training. Going to ask out his close friend lily. He really thrilled about what she would say. He just texted her to meet at old spot which is a cafeteria in front of the hospital they work in. He took off from his home with recently bought bike to the road and excited about surprise he about to give her.
After the traffic lights gave green light, he started to speed in high. But, as soon he crossed the lights, a super car approached him in high speed from left side. He just glanced at it, before he knows *boom* that's the last sound he heard, then he lost consciousness.

*beep**beep*...
'I know this sound, this familiar, rhythmic sound. But I don't know what this is, how I remember it. Ah! please someone make it stop. what happened? I don't remember anything. Why can't I open my eyes, It feels heavy. And why can't I speak.? Who is touching my hand? Why can't I move more than a finger.'
In a room, Anu is sitting in a chair besides the bed where his son resting. She gently holding his hand, suddenly his finger moved. "AJ! AJ!! dear.. can you hear me?! It's me your mom." she gets excited. John who is outside the door hears the sound. Soon, he contacted nearby nurse to call the doctor, while he takes emily into the room.

After sometimes, AJ slowly opens his eyes, comes to see 3 members are standing on both sides. A man, a woman, and a girl. And another person entering the room with 2 other women.
Foreman enters the room with 2 nurses, he takes a small light to check his eyes. "Hey young man.. Can you hear me?" "yes.." slowly with raspy voice AJ replied. "Now can you follow my fingers. good, then now say how many fingers I am showing." Foreman said. "2" "7" "1" AJ said. "Okay, come on take some water, nurse give him."
AJ slowly gets up to sit with help of a woman and apparently a nurse. After having some water, he feels relieved. Then looked around the room, it looks like a hospital room, he don't know how but he knows. Then he looked at people in the room, "Hi.. Doctor.. can you say why am I here? and who are these people? and ...." suddenly a headache attacked him while supporting his head "who am I?"
Anu gets shocked while John holding her alongside emily. Foreman replied "You admitted in this hospital because you fell on the stairs and hit your head. These are your family members. You are experiencing a temporary memory loss...", "...which is common among head surgery such as Craniotomy, Transsphenoidal surgery, Thrombectomy, Biopsy, etc.," AJ completed the sentence subconsciously. Everyone shocked, "Well, we got a small doctor here. Mr. Carter looks like your son still remembers the thing he studies."
After some regular checkup, everyone except nurse who changes his bed and dress remains in the room. "Emily honey, can you go by the vendor machine and eat something. Me and your mom needs to discuss something with doctor, and after eating, go see your brother." John gave emily $10. "Okay" emily said.
In cafeteria, Foreman, John and Anu sit with some food on table. "Doctor Foreman, can you please explain what happened to our son", "As I said before, He is experiencing some temporary memory loss, But there is a possibility this might be a permanent one. If this is a permanent, I suggest you to refrain from asking about past events to your son. It might give him headache and in extreme situation he may develop mental stress that is worst possible thing we want. But you may slowly remind him about past events, it would be best if its a good memory you want him to remember."
Anu fumblingly holds John's hand while her eyes gave few tears. John hugs anu and said "Will he be okay, or will there be any things we need to be consider of", "He is perfectly fine from the surgery. You don't have to worry about anything. you just need to integrate him with more with his family. He really needs that" Foreman replied.
"Ah one thing, is he tries to become a doctor? From the way he answer subconsciously even though he might read that in his past." Foreman asked. "No, our son is usually quiet and a good kid, he excel in his studies, we also asked him about his dream, but he didn't express anything to us." this time Anu replied.
"This is not my place to ask, may I know if he is adopted? Its just, your son has golden hair and blue eyes which may not inherited from you guys." As he looked at black haired Anu and brunette haired John.
John and anu meets each other eyes, then looked at the doctor while Anu continued with slow voice "Originally John and I were in opposite apartment with our roommates in our young times. we were friends first, then we loved and finally got married we moved to different city, we tried to have child but we could not bear it for 5 years, that time we had so much fight. At that time, we learned that like us, our roommates also had gotten married and had a 5-years old boy. But, unfortunately they gotten into accident, and they already asked their lawyer to have us the child as a legal custodian..."
Anu voice broke, *sobs* John hugged Anu tightly "We lost their contact for 5 years, but they still thought of us." *sobs**sobs*, then John continued in a calm tone "After AJ came to our home, every good thing happened to us. Those are the best time in our life. After 4 years we also gotten pregnant with emily."
"Sorry, I don't know this much happened to you" Foreman said. "I want to make sure that AJ Carter will get good care as he is in vulnerable stage right now", "we understand your concern, he is our son and our happiness, we won't leave him alone." Anu replied.

AJ is staring outside the window while laying in the bed. *swipe* the door of the room opened. A brunette haired girl entered the room with a chocolate bar in her hand. And made a beeline to chair besides the bed.
"Hey AJ, mom said you hit your head in the front of the house and covered in blood. I was scared and mom was too much as she was mumbling something like 'he is covered in blood'. I don't know what to do, so I just hugged her. She is really scary when we came to the hospital through the bus, as she demanded the bus driver to drive fast even though there were red lights. You should have seen her." While she opened her chocolate and started eating *munch* "Oh, also there is this weird guy with a cane in his hand, I think he got hit his leg, he kept kicking the vending machine after I got my choco bar..."
As she talk non-stopingly, AJ don't know how to response so he just keep listen to her.
