"..." Andrea said, staring at the system, unsure whether it was malfunctioning or his brain was failing him.
"Let this be known—I'm tired. If you can talk, system, I'll destroy you verbally."
"So, I'll just die if I take on this mission? Isn't that just suicide?" he thought, his mind swirling with conflicting emotions. "But in every story, the protagonist goes through something like this, so why not? Though let's face it, this is stupid. But what's life without a bit of thrill? And I'm sure this world I'm in isn't normal."
Andrea's gaze lingered on the transparent panel before him, his thoughts heavy. With a reluctant sigh, he clicked on the status option.

"What the hell is going on?" Andrea muttered, staring at the panel.
No. 1 - Race:
"I'm something human and... something else? That might explain the weird symbols."
No. 2 - Strength:
"For strength, seriously? I've been working out since childhood! My uncles and aunt even gave me dumbbells to lift when I was five—especially when Mom wasn't home. Haha, I still remember how I skillfully used snacks to get exactly what I needed for my 'training.'"
No. 3 - Agility:
"I guess agility checks out. Why? The same uncles and aunt who pushed me with the dumbbells also decided throwing me into some random forest and sending a trained dog after me would be fun. Mom was okay with this for some reason. When I asked her why, she said, 'Fit to run.' Like, really?" Andrea shook his head, laughing darkly. "Admit it, I'm no coward. I don't run. Ever. (A/N: This attitude is going to bite him in the ass.)"
No. 4 - Defense:
"Defense? There's nothing special there. They didn't exactly have a torture chamber lined up for me. Not that I'm complaining."
No. 5 - Constitution:
"Now, this one's a mystery. I mean, I'm 'human'... and something else. Whatever that means. I guess I'll find out eventually. Hopefully not the hard way."
"Okay, end of this. What's next?" Andrea muttered as he typed into the system's help search bar.
"What is an Aura Sensor?" he asked aloud.
A response appeared almost instantly:
[Aura identify]: The ability to inspect the aura of objects, humans, and supernatural entities. For example, all human auras are grey.
"Oh, entities like ghosts?" Andrea mused, leaning back as he processed the information.
"Okay, what about sacrifice?" Andrea asked, typing into the help search bar.
[Sacrifice]: The ability to offer the nightmares skills you've killed to obtain a new skill. The skill acquired can be of the same grade or a higher grade.
"What are the grades in skills?" Andrea muttered, frowning in confusion as he typed the question into the system.
The system responded:
[Skill Grades]:
F Grade: Lacks significant power, barely noticeable.
E Grade: Slightly stronger than F Grade.
D Grade:
C Grade:
B Grade: [Information missing].
A Grade: [Information missing].
S Grade: [Information missing].
SS Grade:
SSS Grade:
EX Grade: Beyond known limits, considered godlike.
(A/N: Look in the auxiliary section to see more)
"Ummm! So F is the lowest and EX is the highest—like a game version," Andrea murmured, his mind drifting to the sheer levels of destruction an EX skill could unleash. "What kind of chaos would that even cause?"
He shook his head and refocused. "Okay, it's time to check the mission tab," he said, tapping on the panel to proceed.
Andrea clicked on the Mission tab, and the details quickly appeared:
[Mission (1) Available]
The next available mission will be notified

[Accept Mission]
"[YES]"
Andrea blinked. "Wait, why is there only 'yes' in it? I need power to survive and I'm pretty sure this world isn't normal, so... 'YES,'" he said, determination creeping into his voice. He was about to press the button when a thought struck him.
"How could I forget? I can't kill the nightmare without weapons," Andrea muttered to himself. Without wasting a moment, he quickly navigated to the Help Search tab and typed, "How can I take a weapon to the mission?"
[Through the use of inventory.] – the system replied.
"Okay!" Andrea exclaimed, a sense of relief washing over him. He quickly moved to the side of his bed, lifted it, and pulled out a hidden compartment. Inside, he retrieved a Secret—a stash of weapons he'd kept for emergencies.
The cabinet opened to reveal an array of weapons, including military knives, pistols, rifles, and even sniper rifles.
"I've got to say, that's one hell of a weapon collection Uncle Ben sent me," Andrea muttered, marveling at the sight of guns, magazines, and more.
"Inventory," Andrea chanted, the word slipping off his tongue like a command.
[Do you want to put the items into the inventory?] – the system asked.
"Yes," Andrea replied.
With a flash, all the weapons vanished like they'd never existed.
"Okay, I'm ready," Andrea muttered, taking a deep breath. "But before I go, I have to record my departure and arrival to check something in case a particular mission activates in the middle of everything."
He glanced at the time and quickly grabbed a piece of paper, scribbling down the time.
(11:59 - Time to Depart)
"Yes," Andrea said, accepting the mission.
Suddenly, his consciousness blurred, and everything went blank like he was drifting aimlessly into an endless void.
Wait, did I die? he thought, confusion flooding his mind. But I just got reincarnated... what the hell?
He clenched his fists, frustration rising. I swear, if that fucking system is a physical being, I will beat the hell out of it. His head spun, dizziness overtaking him.
"Ugh..." Andrea groaned.
Just as everything felt like life was slipping away, a bright light suddenly pierced the darkness. When the light faded, Andrea ended up standing in the middle of a cornfield, surrounded by what seemed like a hormone-driven teen's party.
"This got to be fun", said Andrea with a wide smile
