Chapter 3 - Ch-3 the first step

Under the pale glow of the moon, Naruto and Hana stood in the familiar clearing of Training Ground 7. The cool night air carried the scent of grass and earth, and the siblings began their practice with synchronized precision, their determination unwavering. They moved through the stances and strikes Kushina had drilled into them earlier that day, their forms becoming sharper and more controlled with every repetition.

Hana paused for a moment, wiping the sweat from her brow. "Onii-chan, do you think we'll ever be as strong as Mom?"

Naruto smirked, his usual confidence shining through. "Of course! We'll be even stronger. We just have to keep training. Mom believes in us, and we have each other. That's all we need."

Hana smiled, her doubts momentarily forgotten, and they returned to their training with renewed vigor.

As the hours passed, their movements grew more fluid, each kick and punch imbued with growing strength and precision. They practiced until their muscles ached and their breaths came in heavy gasps. Finally, they collapsed onto the grass, staring up at the stars.

"Onii-chan," Hana said softly, her voice barely above a whisper, "do you ever wonder what Dad was like? Mom doesn't talk about him much."

Naruto's expression grew serious. "Sometimes, but I think Mom has her reasons. Maybe when we're strong enough, she'll tell us more. For now, we just need to focus on becoming strong so we can protect her—and each other."

Hana nodded, her small hand reaching out to grip his. "You're right. We'll do it together."

---

Unbeknownst to them, Kushina had once again followed them to the training ground. Hiding in the shadows of a nearby tree, she watched her children with a mixture of pride and sadness. She wanted to step in, to guide them and train them herself, but she also knew that their independent efforts would make them stronger in the long run.

As she observed them lying on the grass, talking quietly, she whispered to herself, "Minato, they remind me so much of you. Strong, determined, and always looking out for each other. I promise I'll do everything I can to make sure they're ready for the challenges ahead."

With that, Kushina silently left, deciding it was time to accelerate their training. She resolved to introduce them to the basics of sealing techniques the following day—a skill that would not only honor their Uzumaki heritage but also provide them with tools to protect themselves in the dangerous world they were growing up in.

---

The next morning, Kushina gathered Naruto and Hana in the living room. The siblings were still drowsy, rubbing their eyes as they sat cross-legged on the floor.

"Alright, you two," Kushina began with a bright smile, "today, we're going to start learning about sealing techniques. It's an Uzumaki specialty, and it's something you'll both need to master if you want to become strong shinobi."

Naruto perked up immediately, his curiosity piqued. "Sealing techniques? Like the ones you use, Mom?"

Kushina nodded. "Exactly. Our clan was known for our mastery of fūinjutsu, and it's one of the reasons the Uzumaki were so feared and respected. But it's also why we need to be careful. These techniques are powerful, and if used incorrectly, they can be dangerous."

Hana leaned forward, her eyes wide with interest. "What kind of things can you do with sealing techniques?"

Kushina smiled, proud of their enthusiasm. "With fūinjutsu, you can do everything from creating barriers to sealing away chakra, weapons, or even entire beings. It's incredibly versatile and will give you an edge in battle."

She spread a scroll on the floor, revealing intricate patterns and symbols. "We'll start with the basics—learning to write the sealing formulas. Once you master that, we'll move on to practical applications."

As the siblings began their lesson, Kushina couldn't help but feel a renewed sense of hope. Her children were growing stronger with each passing day, and she knew that together, they would overcome any obstacle that came their way.
