After following the trail, which had faded due to the passage of time, he noticed hives hanging on the tree.
"This is really scary," he muttered under his breath.
There were about 5 to 10 hives hanging in the crown of the tree, and the bees were about the size of a fist.
"How did that guy manage to flee?"
This was still a mystery to him after seeing the horror of wasp.
"Should I poke?"
After contemplating for some time, he reached a conclusion.
"Try it, but before that, find a place to hide."
Looking around his surroundings, he finally found a cavity in the trunk, just big enough for him to hide.
"Now I need a cover."
His eyes lit up, and a sharp knife materialized in his hand. Carefully cutting the bark along with wooden planks about 5 inches thick, he finally sighed.
"Now everything is ready."
The sharp knife materialized back into a bow. Loading an arrow onto the string, he released the quiver.
Swish
Without even turning his head, he entered the cavity and covered himself with the bark.

His lips curled into a smile.
"Success."
After resting for some time, he noticed no buzzing around him, so he came out, shot again, and re-entered the cavity while covering himself with the bark.

This process continued until the panel changed.

[You gained beginner Poisonous Wasp Arrow soul beast]
Initially, his thought was that he would pull the wasps with the strings, but his plan went down the drain because as he pulled the strings, the wasps hovered around the dead ones. He cut the string and continuously shot new arrows.
Finally gaining an arrow soul beast, his mood refreshed, as his arrow supply had been reducing with time.
Summoning the arrow, he admired it in his palm. Running his fingers over it, he complimented:
"Poisonous yet beautiful. Cold yet refreshing to the mind."
Its texture was the same, though the only difference was that its point was black with a grey tint.
That might be poison.
Loading it in his bow, he released the quiver.

Again, the wasp arrow materialized in his palm.
"This is why its price is the same as a mutant soul beast—it's poisonous and can be deadly to even elite soul beasts."
Shrugging his shoulders, he muttered under his breath, "That's nothing to do with me," and one by one, the wasp arrows continued to release from his quiver.
After killing around 30 to 40 wasps, he gained two more soul beasts, but his eyebrows furrowed.
Buzz
Buzz
Around 5 minutes had passed, but the wasps were still buzzing around and biting the trunk. Another 5 minutes passed, and the buzzing reduced significantly.
Disintegrating the bow, he summoned his Mammoth Armor and ShadowFang Dagger soul beast.
Taking a deep breath, his grip loosened.
Thud
The bark cover fell to the ground.
Buzz
All the poisonous wasps attacked at the same time.
Swish
The dagger made a curve in the air, and many wasps were split in two, though some had already drilled their needles into the armor.
"Having a mysterious soul beast is convenient."
Thud
He smacked a wasp, and gray blood splattered on his armor. Similarly, 6 to 7 wasps' blood splattered on his armor.
"Hmm! Is it elite?"
A poisonous wasp he smacked fell lifelessly to the ground, but he hadn't heard a prompt. The dagger swung in his hand and split the lying wasp.

"The wasps are now cleared," he said, and his attention returned to the hive, where around 60 to 70 poisonous wasps remained.
The hive was about 3 to 3.5 meters in size, hanging from the branch.
"The chances of having a perfect soul beast are very low."
Rahul pondered as his gaze went toward the remaining hives. Almost every hive was the same size, about 3 to 3.5 meters, except for one hanging at the highest point, around 150 meters, and measuring about 7 meters.
His smile widened.
"I still have 7 days," he thought, as in the previous days, he had simply gone to his building and slept after the accident.
Taking his position again, the elite poisonous wasp arrow released from his bow and struck the hive.
Buzz
Buzz
Every wasp flew out of the hive, including one that was three times the size of a fist, with an arrow in its abdomen.
His eyes widened, and as soon as he retrieved another arrow from its storage ring, he shot it down.
Without waiting for the result, he entered the cavity and covered himself with the bark.
His lips curled up.
"That hook won't let go."
Laying back, he calmly closed his eyes while holding the bark tightly.
Buzz
Buzz
"The buzzing is much louder than before, which means I really hit a mysterious poisonous wasp."
The buzzing continued.
Buzz
Holding the string in his hand, he kept pulling since he couldn't pull any more.
Buzz
Thud
It felt like very tiny wings and bodies were clashing with the bark. As the clashing grew louder, it continued to intensify.
"They sure have tenacious vitality."
Finally, after hours of buzzing, the noise subsided. Sliding the bark slightly to the left, he peeked.
Gray liquid was oozing out from the abdomen of a wasp hanging at the end of the string. Seeing no other wasps, he removed the bark and pulled it into the cavity.
Suddenly, his ears perked up.
"I'm tricked."
He pulled and squashed the mysterious wasp's head against the trunk with his foot and covered the cavity with bark.
Buzz
Thud
"Perfect Poisonous Wasp!" he exclaimed.
