Chapter 14 - Chapter 14

Zhi Hua awoke promptly gasping for breath, his head in disarray as words started to form from them. He closed his eyes tightly and massaged his skull with a grimace until he had a comprehensive thought structure. He blinked his eyes and surveyed the room he was in and concluded that he was in a hotel. He checked his clothes which were the ones he wore to the institute and he was still with the ID and that stupid phone alongside his gun.

"You're awake" Feng said coming in to hug me but she went back scrunching her nose.

"Go take a shower" she pointed at the bathroom

"How long was I asleep" Zhi Hua asked

"A week now shoo" she said tugging at him. Zhi Hua went to take a shower and clear his head changing into some new clothes he got from Feng.

After that, she explained the events that occurred while I was passed out. We came through and ended up in a back alleyway in Korea she went to look for some fast money then rented a motel. The next few days were just going out to explore the surroundings but she couldn't find anyone from the institute but she did find one or two players lingering around.

"I'm going for a walk" Zhi Hua said going outside.

Feng blinked at the closed door and felt that something was wrong. He usually tells me eventually and they have grown closer this past 4 years but I can feel that he is disconnected with this place because he gets quiet at times thinking about where he comes from. I have become more stable after a long time and have come to accept this place as it is so now I have memories and even people that care about me at home, I thought smiling until I remembered something and frowned. I was asleep when I suddenly heard brother's voice in my head whispering but I couldn't hear or understand the words but I got the meaning.

I seemed to have acquired something called talent to develop aura. There are two aspects of talent; the first is to copy. I have to act out the process of copying anything I can find and understand the object of my imitation. The second is to create; I have to understand the principle and reason behind an object and create something new through combination or reconfiguration. The concept of object isn't necessarily material but can include knowledge, martial arts basically anything that I can find.

After all this I'm meant to have developed the aura of a talented person meaning that everyone one I meet will subconsciously have the impression that I was a genius in any field they are involved in.

Feng thought about it and went out to a library to try to get started on the aspect of Copy.

Zhi Hua sat infront of the computer relieved. He was in an internet cafe browsing through the Internet to see if this guys have light novel and they do. He almost broke down in tears when he saw his favorite light novel but he held it in to avoid strange looks from the other customers

He began to think about the information he got slowly. It was basically the beginning of a series starting with Villain to develop Aura. It was just a way to develop the halo of a villain like the protagonist halo but for the bad guys. There is something called Aspects which are the branches of the series you have to understand in order to properly develop the aura.

The first aspect is Environment; this is basically the backstory of the villain which made them turn evil.

The second aspect is the Ability, this is the power held by the villain that is used to fight against the hero.

The third aspect is Reason which is the driving force behind the villain's fight against the protagonist.

Zhi Hua organized it but was still confused. Who in there right minds would want to be the villain, when he even checked the definition of a villain online it clearly stated someone who was cannon fodder for the hero so why would someone want to be it. Let's be optimistic, there are four types of villains according to the internet which are antagonist, supervillain, tragic villian and anti- hero. The first three are definitely cannon fodder with supervillain and tragic villian being the ones that die at the end then the best choice would be an anti- hero.

Honestly anti- hero is popular in novels nowadays because they do what needs to be done besides they are always the main characters. Zhi Hua decided to start with the first aspect which is environment. He would have to understand the circumstances that brought about the birth of an anti- hero then place himself in those circumstances to act out that decision to truly be able to develop the aura of anti- hero villian. At the end of the day, a fake is a fake no matter how hard one acts and the feeling you would get would be different from the real thing.

But the problem is how is he supposed to place himself in such a situation. The environment they are talking about is usually from traumatic experiences, revenge or living as a criminal for a while. It's basically a bad guy doing good but Zhi Hua has no memories about growing up and it's kind of hard to bully an adult besides no one wants to get bullied. The easiest route is through revenge but he isn't even from here so why would he seek revenge or power.

Zhi Hua suddenly had a breakthrough. That's right power; that should be the easiest. He could aim to be the strongest group in the mafia, that way he could create the environment by starting from nothing and environment gives birth to reason which satisfies two of them together, after all he has no family of friends here so he's orphaned, no money or house and to sum it all up he has nothing. Zhi Hua finally got it and rewarded himself with breakfast too.

He remembered that he doesn't know which genre of world this is. He remembered the superior saying that each world had a law with rules according to each law, these laws are actually genres so Zhi Hua was curious about the rules in them.

He examined the ID card and found out this was a thriller. The rules were that: The main characters can't die no matter what,

The second rule is; never search a dead relative's house,

The third rule is; never trust the nicest people,

The fourth rule is; never trust a facility owned by powerful people

The fifth rule is; never trust the police department

The sixth rule is; the main villian can't be revealed until the end of the storyline.

Zhi Hua looked at it once more and was sure. This was basically derived from the cliche events in any thriller.
