Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Zhi Hua stared at the girl beside him happily eating a slice of bread infront of the fire. He already guessed she was the one who did it and the reason was probably because she regarded him as her brother of some sort. After getting her off him, she handed him the bag that she brought which was stacked with food and water. Zhi Hua decided after that it was okay to let her join him since she a hundred percent believed they were related and not because he thought she was too cute, no he's a kind person besides she looks way younger than he is.

"How old are you"Zhi Hua decided to ask so that he could start a conversation.

"Don't know" she replied confidently

"What if your family"

"I only have my brother" she said smiling at him

"How long have you known me"

"Don't know"

"How did you know I was going to be here" Zhi Hua was sure he had never crossed paths with her even when she was a zombie so it was after he 'died' that she met his body here.

"Don't know" she replied

"Then what do you know" Zhi Hua asked exasperated

"Wei Ming is my Oppa and you are Wei Ming" she said happily. Zhi Hua resisted the urge to slap his forehead and gave up. This little girl obviously knows nothing about herself or him and is probably crazy. He did feel a bit bad about leading her on and he did find that he felt something towards her even though they just met like he couldn't abandon her so she must be related to him in some way that he can't remember.

"Well, I can't keep saying you so I'll name you Feng Huang and you should be around 14" Zhi Hua felt that it was a fitting name for the little girl and she was definitely younger than him.

"Brother knows best" she replied finishing up the bread.

After dealing with that, Zhi Hua began to ponder on what to do. Since this was a zombie type then that must mean there are main characters somewhere and judging by the number of years then they should be in the middle of looking for a safe place to rest. The main characters are the center of a world so I should find some clues with them but the problem is how to find them. I don't even know what the main characters look like so how am I meant to find them. If it was anywhere else then I'd just say that it would be where the most noise is but in this situation there is fighting everywhere. I get it, I just have to look for someone or someplace that has the most authority or even better the laboratory. If all else fails then I might just look for the most handsome people out of a group and guess. Speaking of appearances, I wonder why I reincarnated into south Korea when I'm Chinese. When I was going through the memories I didn't even register it but now that I'm calmer I realize that for someone who never learnt a word of Korean, I seem to understand the language since birth. The entire process of my reincarnation this time is covered in mystery which I find interesting.

"Where do you think we should go now" Zhi Hua said once they were outside the warehouse surveying the wreckage on the streets for signs of movement.

"What are you looking for" Feng said copying his posture of looking around.

"Weapons" he replied

"I saw a police station on my way back" she said

"How did you even fight the zombies off" Zhi Hua asked interestedly realizing she was with no weapon.

"I hid and ran" she said proudly. Zhi Hua shook his head at this silly girl and told her to lead the way. Anyway, police stations is a good place for finding main characters because they always stop there to steal a pistol.

Zhi Hua was surprised at the little girl who seemed to have the ability to perfectly copy anything he does. The are had few zombies after the survivor passed through here so he just found random metal parts that were sturdy and slammed it on the head repeatedly until it was mush. After he killed the first zombie, she killed the rest with perfect skill efficiently replicating his moves. He thought that it was unlucky he had no memory of any kind of fighting skill or she'd be overpowered. He started to suspect that she was one of the main characters of a novel or something.

They walked till late afternoon before they found the police station not stopping by the way. Zhi Hua walked to the locked door and knocked it loudly waiting to hear the sound of footsteps. He waited five minutes before slamming the door open after hearing no sound, Feng was left outside to deal with the wandering zombies attracted by the sound while I thoroughly ransacked the station.

It yielded a pistol with a full case of bullets plus a police baton. He might have taken the badge to pretend to be a police officer but he was too young. He glanced outside to find Feng in a safe situation so he went to the bathroom after searching to observe his face.

He had a normal Korean face with black hair and black eyes but the only thing was that he gave off a gloomy aura. It was probably because of the hard life he had lived but he looked like a kid on the edge of becoming a criminal. He tried to smile but it came out like a sneer which shocked him. He wondered what Feng saw for her to like him so much even with this face.

"Brother are you done" Feng called outside

Zhi Hua came out with the pistol tucked in his trouser and met the area cleared out with Feng all bloody smiling at him. He thought that he almost forgot this girl is crazy so she doesn't care about his scary face.

"Let's find a place to rest" he said holding the baton while she had a crowbar she found by the way.

"There's this pretty house I saw that was big" she said pointing at a mansion. I thought it was a reasonable idea since he had never lived in luxury but then he heard a gunshot followed by arguing from many people. That sounds like a place where trouble is happening and in return a scenario from the story.

A gloomy smirk unknowingly grew on Zhi Hua's face as he told her that they should follow the sound
