CHAPTER 4: MATCH UP - YUGEN VS MEIAN
"Huh, who is this brat? Just another fly I need to crush," Meian taunted, his eyes gleaming with a psychopathic intensity.
Yugen's eyes narrowed, his determination burning brighter with every passing moment. "Bring it on," he said, his voice steady and firm.
Meian's smile grew wider as he charged towards Yugen with incredible speed. Yugen watched him approach, Calculating his possible paths but realized that
"His dribbling is too good; it would be impossible to steal it from him in that case. I'll keep my distance and strike when I see an opening," Yugen thought to himself.
Mikaila, watching from the sidelines, nodded in approval. "Hoh, knowing he can't beat him in a one-on-one, he decided to keep his distance and close down his options. His judgment is correct."
But Meian was not one to be underestimated. He smirked and kicked it up another gear, closing the distance between himself and Yugen in the blink of an eye.
Yugen's eyes widened in surprise. "Tch!" he exclaimed, his body tensing as he prepared to defend himself.
Meian stepped over with incredible speed, his movements a blur as he attempted to get past Yugen. But Yugen was ready for him.
"Got you!" Yugen exclaimed, anticipating Meian's move. He reached out to steal the ball, but Meian was too quick.
Meian pulled the ball back and switched it to his left foot, effortlessly getting past Yugen. Yugen's eyes widened in shock as Meian stopped in front of him, a triumphant smirk on his face.
"Hmph, small fry," Meian sneered, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Kekeke."
Yugen's face fell, his eyes welling up with tears as he realized the true extent of his opponent's abilities. He felt a wave of despair wash over him, his mind reeling with doubts.
"Is this the world? Is this impossible? Was my dream just a joke?" Yugen thought, his heart heavy with disappointment.
But then he remembered the promise he had made to himself. "I will be the best striker in the world," he had vowed.
Yugen's eyes snapped back into focus, his determination burning brighter than ever before. He wiped the tears from his eyes, a resolute expression crossing his face.
"What was I thinking?" Yugen chuckled, a wry smile spreading across his face. "The promise I made myself on that day, I said I would fulfill it by any means possible. And because of a defeat, I forgot who I was."
Yugen's eyes gleamed with a fierce determination. "I don't care if they are geniuses, prodigies, gods, or whatever. I AM THE WORLD'S BEST STRIKER."
Meian, meanwhile, was weaving through the opposing team's players with ease. "What the hell, he just got past 10 people!" an unknown character exclaimed.
Meian grinned, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Ganging up on me wouldn't change the outcome, you weak pests."
As Meian prepared to shoot, Yugen suddenly appeared in front of him, blocking his path. Meian's eyes widened in surprise, and he skidded to a stop.
"You persistent brat, you can try all the tricks you want," Meian sneered, his eyes glinting with amusement. "But it wouldn't change the outcome."
Yugen remained silent, his head bowed and his eyes fixed on the ground. Meian snorted in derision and charged towards Yugen once more.

The entire facility was in a state of pandemonium, with everyone staring at Yugen in shock. Mikaila smirked, a hint of approval in her eyes.
Akane's eyes were wide with excitement. "Woahhh! That was an amazing goal!"

Yugen, still dazed from his sudden victory, stumbled backwards, his eyes fixed on Meian's stunned face.
"I...I qualified?" Yugen stuttered, his voice barely audible.
Meian's face twisted in rage. "Don't give me that crap! Don't give me that crap! DON'T GIVE ME THAT CRAP!!!"
Meian's anger boiled over, and he charged towards Yugen and holds him by this jersey and says " how the hell did you do that you brat " yugen surprised acting awkwardly saying under his voice " I .. don't .know haha "
