"We cannot live in a cave forever. Let's build a hut tomorrow," Ahcehera said, her gaze fixed on the river, its clear waters reflecting the soft light of the sky.

"Let's move to higher ground. That way, we'll be safe from flooding and closer to a reliable water source."

"Okay," Richard replied with a simple nod.

The two began their hike up the terrain. After some time, they came across a patch of flat land near the river.

The ground was open, with a few scattered trees spaced far apart. The area was peaceful, offering both sunlight and shade, a perfect location for their shelter.

"What about taking shelter in the trees?" Ahcehera suggested, her sharp eyes scanning the area for sturdy options.

"Hmm," Richard murmured in agreement, his words measured and brief.

Ahcehera noticed his reluctance to speak more than necessary. Perhaps he was trying to avoid drawing suspicion, she thought.
