The next morning.
The sun hung high in the sky by the time Tohka woke up lazily. Her eyelids quivered as her eyes opened slowly.
At first, her head was still fuzzy as she had just woken up. But as she became aware that she was hugging someone, she froze. Slowly, she turned her head to look at the person that she was hugging.
She was met with a pair of warm brown eyes staring back at her.
In an instant, memories of the previous night flooded her mind. Yet, before she could fully process them, Shido's gentle voice broke through her thoughts.
"Good Morning Tohka."
He smiled softly, his fingers tenderly brushing through her long purple hair.
However, if someone took a closer look, they could see that his smile was quite wry and bitter. Perhaps it was due to the commotion caused by Kotori or the cold glare of Reine.
"U-uh..."
Tohka was at a loss for words, startled by Shido's sudden greeting. That was when she realized that both of them were naked, their bodies were barely covered by a thin blanket.
In an instant, Tohka felt her blood rush to her head, her face turning a deep shade of red. It was as if steam were about to rise from her, fueled by the overwhelming embarrassment.
The memory of her bold actions from the night before crashed into her mind, only making things worse, especially now that she realized just how much skin she was revealing.
"D-Don't look!" she cried, hurriedly pulling the blanket over her body while instinctively throwing a punch at Shido.
But how could Shido possibly be hit by her punch?
Without her Reiryoku, along with the fact that her body was still drained from their intimate act the last night, her movements were sluggish and unsteady.
Shido easily dodged the incoming punch causing Tohka to lose her balance as her fist swung through empty air.
"Ah!"
She stumbled forward, falling straight into Shido's arms.
"Careful now," Shido said, steadying her.
Tohka's face burned even hotter as she realized just how close they were. Trapped in his embrace, she had no idea what to do, Tohka could only bury her face in his shoulder and bit down lightly as if venting her frustration.
Shido let out a helpless chuckle. Her bite didn't bother him in the slightest, thanks to his advanced pain resistance, it felt like nothing. Nevertheless, even without it, her bite wouldn't have hurt much. In fact, the faint brush of her little tongue against his shoulder felt a little ticklish.
Too embarrassed to see Shido's face, Tohka continued biting his shoulder, leaving faint marks as she threw a childish tantrum.
Shido simply let her do as she pleased. It was natural for her to act this way after their first time. He held her gently, patting her back to soothe her.
"Yosh, yosh. It's okay, Tohka," he said softly.
"Hmph! Shido, you're stupid!"
"Idiot! Moron! Pervert!"
Shido was speechless at her outburst, her barrage of insults causing him to smile wryly.
"How am I a pervert?" he asked, perplexed.
"You are! After everything you did to my body last night!"
"Idiot! Moron!"
Tohka refused to back down, her grievances spilling out as she continued to call him names.
"But weren't you the one who seduced me?" Shido sighed, trying to reason with her.
"S-Shut up! I didn't seduce you, stupid!"
She wrapped her arms around him tightly, refusing to let go as she vented her frustration.
After about ten minutes, Tohka's tantrum finally subsided. She rested her head on Shido's shoulder, snuggling close to him. Their naked bodies pressed together as Shido whispered words of love. Tohka, now too exhausted to argue, simply listened to his soothing voice.
"All right, all right. I'm sorry, Tohka. Please forgive me," Shido said gently.
"Mmm… Shido is bad," she murmured, still pouting as she acted spoiled.
"Yes, yes. I'm bad," he replied, humoring her.
"Mmm… Shido's naughty."
"Well, that's because you're too charming," he teased with a smirk.
"Pervert!"
Tohka's cheeks flushed, and she lightly hit his chest in embarrassment.
Her reaction was so endearing that Shido couldn't help but laugh. This only made Tohka pout more, her cheeks puffing up like a chipmunk.
"Hahaha, I'm sorry," Shido said, chuckling. "Then, what do I need to do to earn your forgiveness, my princess?"
Tohka's ears twitched at his words.
"Anything?" she asked, her eyes lighting up.
"Anything," he promised.
Her eyes brightened as she shyly made her request.
"T-then… can you cook me some food?" she asked, snuggling closer to him to feel his warmth.
"Of course! I'll make you a full-course meal!" Shido said, patting his chest confidently.
"Yay!"
Tohka cheered as she separated from him, her excitement making her momentarily forget their situation. She didn't even notice that she was still completely naked, her alluring figure fully exposed before Shido's eyes.
Watching her seductive body in front of her, Shido unconsciously gulp. This sight was so beautiful that it caused him to sigh at how perfect Tohkas body was.
Recalling how he played her body to his heart's content last night, Shido nodded in satisfaction.
Although Tohka's personality is like a child's, she transforms into a princess knight when they are performing the act of love which is a huge contrast to her child-like personality.
Shido didn't dislike her child-like personality as Tohka had never truly feel familial warmth because she was born a spirit.
Thinking of how irresponsible her mother was, Shido could only let out a wry sigh as she was only focused on her previous lover.
When Tohka who was giggling finally noticed something wrong with Shido as he was looking at her with a dazed expression, her smile paused.
She had completely forgotten the same mistake she made earlier when she was naked. Though they had seen each other's naked body last night and even do more embarrassing things, it was morning and they could see each other clearly unlike last night when the lights were dark.
"D-Don't look..."
Tohka shyly covered her breast with her arms, a huge contrast to her earlier outburst. Yet, her meek expression combined with the deep shade of blush on her cheeks fueled Shido's desire. His sword was standing tall pointing at the sky ready to pierce anyone.
"Tohka, how about another round before we have breakfast...?"
"Kyaaa! N-No!"
And so, the day began, with the lovers having their rematch.
