Turning to meet his gaze, his smile deepened.
"Welcome sister-in-law" he said, giving her a wink

She was left speechless, she never thought George would be the one, she just recieved a text saying she should come for an interview, she didnt even know her post or who she would be working for.
"Welcome to RGDC...." George said, composing himself, he looked more serious and professional.
"Take your sit" He said while directing her with his hands.
"You are going to work for the CEO of this company, as his assistant... I see you have a passkey and you look quite the impression...you start work tomorrow , i hope that wasnt to sudden" George asked but she remained mute still in thought
" i will take that as a yes, heading outside, someone is waiting there to show you around, that being said.. you'r dismissed" He concluded, they both stood up, he brought his hands foward for a handshake which she took with a smile. She then turned and was heading for the door unknown to her Goerge had a sly smile on like he had completed a mission.
"Hey..." Katherine heard as soon as she opened the door, she turned only to see him again
" Hey are you stalking me..oh, lemme guess,you'r the tour guide" she asked puting on warm smile.
" I wouldn't exactly put it like that but what can i say, shall we" He said , extending his hands foward while grinning from ear to ear.
She stared at him and smiled at his funny gestures, she stared ahead ignoring his hands and walked forward, what she did, didn't make him upset, he just smiled at her stubbornness which he found really cute.
'I must have her' he thought and smiled following her from behind.
He showed her around the building which made her eyes sparkle, he got more drawn to her. All she did made him feel and have stronger feelings. Finally he took her to the top floor where she would be working, she didnt know who her boss was and Charles didn't want to tell her. She covinced herself that it couldn't possibly be Rowen, he had other companies to run.
The 'ding' of the elevator could be heard, making only one step out. Katherine turned and gave Charles a confused look.
"What are you afraid or something" she asked, anoyed at his actions
" This next step is for you to take not me, i wasn't invited, only you of all staff has this Keycard, so i cant get in" He said with sad eyes.
" Okey.. you dont need to be all sad about this stuff...geez...are guys this days made up of candy" She asked walking off, unknown to her that he was sad because he longed to see her more, he also heard rumors on how the CEO treats women really poorly...The CEO always wears a mask so they dont actually know who it is, so Charles was hopeless, telling her all this could make her anxious and worried.
She walked in using the passkey, she saw the sign the CEO office, so she stood infront of it, she dressed her clothes well and then knocked soflty on the door. She opened the door after beign told to get in.
The man was seated comfortably clicking on his pen, he seemed to be lost in thoughts, on seeing her, he sat up and gave her a warm smile
" Good morning sir, i am your new assistant" she said, bowing her head slightly, the man infront of her seemed lost at the sight of her, sizing her and looking at how professional she looked, he was impressed . His other assistant would always come to work exposing a part of themselves which made him feel disgusted by them.
He would only use them and dumbed them afterwards, though they was nothing like office romance to him, he still preferred work.
" Nice to meet you, I am Gabriel Chase but formally am called Mr. Chase and that is how l like to be addressed, is that clear Katherine Anderson " He said shaking hands with her while she hummed in reply.
'Chase, why does it sound so familiar' she thought, only to shrug her shoulder.
" Meet with one of the staffs to tell you all about your job here, then you can resume tomorrow" He said and dismissed her, as she left, he couldn't take his eyes off her, the naughty thoughts seeping in but he quickly composed himself.
'She is one beauty' he thought licking his lips and smiled in satisfaction.

" What exactly is going on George, how could you give her a job in one of my companies, are you nuts?" Rowen Chase asked, anger visible in his expression
" Chillax bro, she is not under yours but under the CEO of RGCD" George said casually slumping on the chair to his office only to make Rowen Chase tighten his hands in a fist
" Don't tell me you did what i think you did" He asked, trying to hold back his anger
"Don't tell me i cant hire her in Pa Chris company, it was his idea, his the Chairman, i cant go against my boss, besides you quite being the executive chairman, so i don't think you have the power to judge what happens in the company" George said like it was nothing answering hos questions with another
"You do realise you kept her with a freaking womanizer, the worst part is, she has never met him and i never told her about him, what if something goes on between them" he said pouring out more anger, his eyes distant as if remembering a past incident.
"Relax, she is smart and tough, he can do no such thing" George retorted
" He did so once before and he could do it again" Rowen Chase shot back at him his eyes becoming red
" Well, not every girl is like Diane" George shot back with equal force but got punched in the face by the already infuriated man. His lips got bursted while Rowen looked at him fiercly with his red eyes
" You know what can happen by doing this but you chose to" Rowen said through gritted and left for the door bedore he made anymore sin.
" I guess i deserved that, told Pa it wouldn't be easy" George muttered to himself and continued with his paperwork.
