"And so through a forbidden ritual performed by Orus, I was able to do what mages call a 'Soul Tether'; a spell that enables a soul to be brought for a brief time from the afterlife after certain conditions has been met, along with the presence of a tether, an object that was physically connected with the deceased.
Fang smiled and continued "The tethers I used was two of my fangs which you now use as daggers".
"So let me guess Fang Alexandre's family are the ones you entrusted with the task to look out for me? Leo asked his mind truly blown as he glued all this pieces of truths together,"And then you told them to give your fangs to any strange child that they found?
Fang simply rolled his eyes "Of course not, if I told them to give it to any strange baby orphan they found I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be here.
"Haven't you ever asked yourself why among all the races only you have this color of hair?
Leo thinking back nodded agreeing with the dead panther's point and was taking the news quite wel,l for even from the young age of ten he always knew that he had been different from other humans.
"Not to mention the blue eyes, for all Huntrans hair and eyes have the same color. And the condition that was needed to be satisfied for the soul tether to work was for you to be on the verge of evolving" Fang shaking his head then added with a sad smile: "You need to know this though".
Fang at this point twisted in a dark mist turning into his massive panther once again with dark blue fur "The day I activated the soul tether is the day I died, an after effect that not even Orus expected and in the process some of my powers transferred into the tether.
"All this explains a lot but then which of these powers actually belong to me? Leo asked while his mind searched for the words needed to thank the great beast for his sacrifice towards him.
"The space abilities are all yours but the whole 'devourer' thing is something Orus invented in other to provide an explanation for your ability in the nearest future so as to protect you from those close to Draghyr. Seeing that Leo was about to ask another question Fang raised a paw stopping him as he went straight to the point
"If you want to evolve and get stronger I will suggest you start using the Azure eye well. The Azure eye is a rare ability some Huntrans possess on evolving, it enables you to have a great affinity with Space.
The strange grid you found yourself in was simply you using the 'eye 'and the two mists; the mana signature of the reaper's hearts. With enough practice it is said that some Huntrans were able to see and sense everything from internal organs to even the mana present in living beings, but be careful for if you decide to truly use this eye, there will be a cost. "I can't teach you how to use it but all I can tell you is as time goes by and with proper combat training you will start to find out more about your powers and maybe even a link to Space as a whole.
Fang took a look at the small ripple in the crystal ball beneath them and with a dejected look sighed "I'm afraid our time together has come to an end but rest assured there is a book written by Orus that has some extra answers to whatever questions might be bothering you.
The panther in front of Leo slowly started to fade but still Fang continued to give some last bits of important information
"The book should be with the one you call 'Alexandre' and for your own sake do not reveal to anyone what you are, not until you get stronger. "And please don't let my sacrifice be in vain" Fang finally added as he shimmered away in a bright light.
"Thank you, for everything" Leo bowed truly thankful and still confused about how he was involved in all of this. A bright light coming from the castle however caught his attention for a brief second.
*BOOM*
Leo was thrown some meters back; sliding across the floor as he dug his claws into the ground to regain his footing. In front of him was a ruined castle where he could still make out two very far off silhouettes; one glowing bright and the other as dark as night.
"The princess!"
Leo instantly remembered changing into a panther as he covered the distance between the hall and his position with mighty leaps.Landing in front of the destroyed hall, Leo moved through the stone rubble and bodies, running forward until he stopped in his tracks and began to dig through the vast amount of rubble.
His ears however twitched on hearing a small weak voice, Leo followed the sound happily and gave a sigh of relief when he found Hamilton and Princess Emelda, the two of them being shielded by a transparent green dome.
Leo seeing that the two were in one piece smiled
{Glad to see you're alive}
{Same here, though I don't think Hamilton will be okay if we leave him like this}
Noticing the blackened hole in the god ranked elf's stomach Leo sighed
{Then I guess we will have to leave, Patricia should be able to handle Wulfe on her own}{How do you know that it's the two of them?}{Let's just say I sensed that and plus I can still make out their shapes with my eyes}.
Leo turned back into a human and quickly removed the heavy rubble on the dome, Emelda after this dismissed the spell and slowly placed the unconscious Hamilton onto the floor. "You can't heal him? Leo asked though he had a small hunch on why she couldn't
"I'm afraid only a very powerful Order spell will be able to stop the Chaos energy spreading within him" Emelda replied.
Leo placed Hamilton onto his back and soon he and the princess began to run heading for the castle's gates.
Sensing something in the air Leo stopped in his tracks holding out a hand as he gestured for Emerald to also stop.
"Not so fast"
Wulfe smiled limping towards them with his iconic evil smile.
Leo sniffing the air growled when to his utmost surprise Patricia's scent had suddenly disappeared not even leaving a trace. "Don't worry I've sent her to where she can't bother us anymore" Wulfe added laughing as he approached.

Emelda looking at Leo nodded and picking up Hamilton from the floor ran carrying him on her back as she headed for the gates. Wulfe to Leo's surprise didn't even try to stop the princess and simply yawned "I wonder where she's running to"
"What do you mean? Leo asked trying to bide time for Emelda and Hamilton to escape.
"Why do you think no reinforcement have come to assist the castle and royal guards in stopping us? Wulfe sat down on a piece of stone and continued "The answer's simple; all over the Order of the Phoenix, members of the brotherhood are clashing with guards, assassins and soldiers, you name it. The perfect distraction so to say"."Meaning after I kill you, your dear princess will still be captured by me, after all you are nothing but an over achieving assassin" Wulfe added getting up with a yawn.
"We shall see whether I am that easy to kill" Leo growled, placing his daggers directly in front of him.
