As I scrutinized my status panel, I realized that I already had a good grasp of the basics.

However, one aspect caught my attention - the system type I had unlocked was a "Unique" type system.

I recalled that there were three primary system types that humans could access: Knight, Mage, and Unique.

The distinction between these types was straightforward, based on the skills granted by the system and the energy source utilized.

Knight-type systems focused on physical enhancements, drawing power from an individual's aura.

Mage-type systems, on the other hand, granted elemental abilities, relying on mana as their energy source.

Unique-type systems, like mine, were more versatile, offering a combination of elemental, physical, and sometimes non-elemental skills.

What's more, they operated on a different energy paradigm, using MP as their primary energy source.

Which was why Unique type system holders were usually the strongest at their individual ranks.

I shifted my attention to my traits, intrigued by the possibilities they offered.

Traits were essentially passive skills that remained active at all times, providing a constant benefit.

One trait in particular caught my eye: [Soul Absorption]. I couldn't believe the description: this trait allowed me to absorb the souls of defeated enemies, potentially stealing one of their traits and earning experience points in the process.

I whistled softly, impressed by the sheer power of this trait.

Ryuk, the main villain of the first game, must have been a formidable opponent with abilities like this at his disposal.

I wonder how Aron and the others had managed to defeat him. But with a trait like [Soul Absorption] on my side, I felt a surge of confidence.

I could become a force to be reckoned with, a true powerhouse among demigods.

As I continued to explore my traits, I stumbled upon another one: [Weapon Master]. This ability granted me the versatility to wield any and all weapons, a truly remarkable skill.

I chuckled to myself, marveling at the absurdity of it all. How could Ryuk not be the main character with traits like these? Even Aron's abilities paled in comparison.

I decided to investigate further, curiosity getting the better of me.

"What about my bloodline?" I wondered aloud. "Why is it locked, and what's the significance of it?" Normally, unlocking one's system would also trigger the awakening of their bloodline, but in my case, it seemed to be sealed.

I recalled that even Ryuk, the main antagonist of the game, never awakened his bloodline.

Or did he, and it was simply never mentioned? I pondered the possibilities, my expectations high for a powerful bloodline ability, given my royal heritage.

The Heidal bloodline was renowned for its exceptional abilities, and I had every reason to believe that mine would be just as impressive.

The voice offered a cryptic response, [You'll have to figure it out for yourself. I can't reveal whether or not Ryuk awakened his bloodline in the game or not. All I can say is that your bloodline is unique and might play a role in the events of this world that are yet to come, including Ryuk's... rather, your fate.]

The words were both enlightening and enigmatic, leaving me to ponder the mystery of my bloodline.

"Is that so?" I murmured, acknowledging the voice's statement and considering the potential significance of my bloodline in the unfolding story.

I decided to pose a question, despite anticipating a less-than-forthcoming response.

"Who brought me here, and what's the purpose behind it?" I asked, my curiosity piqued. The events that had transpired so far hinted at a mastermind orchestrating things from behind the scenes.

Given the complexity of summoning a soul across vast distances, I suspected that a powerful entity was involved.

The response was predictable, yet still disappointing. [Error: Insufficient strength and authority].

I wasn't surprised; such questions often went unanswered in this type of scenario.

Undeterred, I moved on to my next query. "What about the kid I encountered when I first arrived in soul form? Was that Ryuk? And what did he mean by 'Shared destiny'?" I pressed, seeking clarification on the cryptic message.

Ryuk's nonchalant attitude toward my presence in his body was unsettling, to say the least. I expected resentment or anger, but instead, he seemed apathetic.

The response, however, was identical to the previous one. [Error: Insufficient strength and authority].

It seemed that some secrets were meant to remain hidden, at least for the time being.

A sudden curiosity struck me, and I posed a question that seemed almost trivial. "Why does your voice sound female, by the way? Is it because you're... well, female?" I trailed off, realizing the absurdity of attributing human characteristics to a system.

The voice responded with a hint of amusement, [Should I switch to a male voice from now on, then?] The tone was playful, and I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Fair point," I conceded, deciding that I preferred the familiar feminine tone. "I think I'll stick with this voice, if you don't mind." I added, feeling a sense of comfort with the voice that had been guiding me so far.

Remembering something I wanted to ask, I turned my attention to the system, my curiosity piqued by an unexpected ability.

"System, can you explain why I have a spatial manipulation ability? I don't recall Ryuk having anything like that in the game," I asked, my eyes fixed on the unfamiliar skill.

Ryuk's abilities in the game had been well-documented, and I had studied them extensively.

His unique system type, versatility with weapons, and dual elemental skills had made him a formidable opponent.

The [Soul Absorption] trait had been the icing on the cake, allowing him to grow stronger at an incredible rate.

But spatial manipulation? That was a rare ability, even among the ancient races that had mastered the arts of magic and combat.

Even the powerful djinn were scarce in spatial users. So, where did this ability come from?

[That's simple enough], the system responded, its tone matter-of-fact. [The spatial manipulation ability doesn't belong to Ryuk Vers Heidal; it belongs to you].

The words dropped like a bombshell, sending a shockwave through my mind as I struggled to process the implications.

"Huh?"
