'Ugh! Where am I?' a man thought to himself as he opened his eyes.
'Why is it so blurry?' he wondered as all his eyes could pick were distorted colours.
'Maybe I should close and open my eyes again. I must have had a strong concussion; I had a big accident after all.'
The man mumbled inwardly as he closed his eyes, thinking back to the moment when a car hit him in the middle of the road.
'Maybe that's why people warned that one shouldn't cross a road while looking down at their phone,' he chuckled to himself as he opened his eyes once more.
But then, 'Wait….' The man's heartbeat quickened as he realised something, 'This isn't a hospital!'
He was in what appeared to be a luxurious bedroom. Everything around him was big, from the expensive vase on the table holding colourful flowers that looked like they were the size of his head to the bed itself!
'Where the fuck am I?' The man panicked, his heart thumping against his chest. He felt his throat quiver with his eyes shutting on their own, 'What's happening!?'

In the continent of Nightingale, in the biggest castle on the continent, in one of the many bedrooms.
A woman was sleeping peacefully with a baby beside her, surrounded by pillows.
The woman could only be described as beautiful, as she had long black hair that flowed down to her waist, while her pale skin was shining with no blemishes whatsoever.
Her voluptuous body was loosely covered by a nightgown, with one of her hands resting on the pillow surrounding her baby.

But a sudden cry from her baby woke her immediately as she opened her eyes, revealing her two blood-red eyes.
She instantly got up and lifted her baby into her arms, "What happened, my sweetheart, why are you crying?" she asked with a small smile on her face.
The baby instantly calmed down as he stared at his mother with wide eyes.
Noticing this, the woman's smile widened as she asked, "Oh my, did you miss your mother?"
She then kissed her son's forehead and whispered, "Don't worry, baby. Mama's going nowhere. I will always be with you."
She then rocked her son back and forth, and soon enough, her baby fell asleep.
The woman's heart melted as she watched her son sleeping peacefully. She leaned forward and kissed him again on his forehead as she mumbled, "Sleep well, my darling."

I used to be your normal edgy teenager going to high school. I was into anime and web novels, which helped me get distracted from the real world.

Just then, a knock came on the door, which widened the smile on the woman's face: "Come in."

The door opened and in walked a woman who resembled the mother of the dot.
The woman appeared to be in her twenties and had long black hair that was tied into a ponytail.
She wore a black trench coat with golden stitching and blood-red gems for buttons.
Her blood-red eyes shone with excitement as she looked at the baby in her mother's hands.
"Mother!" The woman exclaimed happily as she hugged her mother upon reaching her.
The woman watched as her mother hugged her back with one hand and kissed her forehead. "You should have visited earlier." She commented.
The woman's eyes dropped at her mother's comment, "I am sorry, mother. I wish I were here when you gave birth, but I couldn't." She apologised.
But she reverted back when she heard her mother laugh dismissively and said, "It's fine, baby. Now, meet your little brother," she said as she showed her son to her.
The woman's eyes widened in amazement as she gazed at her younger brother, who was looking back at her.
"He's so cute!" the woman commented as she caressed her baby brother's cheeks.
But the woman snorted softly at her mother when she said, "Careful now, your brother is delicate."
"Hmph! I know, Mom!" She then turned to her brother and asked, "So, what's his name?"
"His name is Adrian, Adrian von Sangre. The second prince of vampires!"
