Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Genius? Ghost Genius

The first book I wrote, if you like it, I will publish a new chapter every day.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Creak~ creak! The wooden door, aged and fragile, opened slowly with a loud creak.

A dark-haired boy stood at the entrance. It was evening, and the sun was just about to set, casting its final rays of light from behind him. His shadow stretched long, filling the room with an air of mystery. On his back, a red family crest—a symbol of the Uchiha clan—was clearly visible.

Stepping inside, he closed the door softly behind him. He walked to the bed, sat down, and looked directly at the mirror before him.

"I never expected... I've become the second pillar!" he muttered under his breath.

The reflection in the mirror showed a boy with deep black hair and a faintly somber expression in his eyes. His face was flawless, strikingly handsome, yet distant, exuding an icy coldness that set him apart.

This was none other than Uchiha Sasuke, just twelve years old!

Though his appearance was stunning, his heart bore the heavy weight of loneliness. An orphan, despite his genius. Even with the Uchiha clan's legendary bloodline that countless ninjas envied, his existence was tinged with tragedy.

"Becoming the second pillar is fine, but ending up as a one-armed hero? That's just ridiculous!" Sasuke thought, his face twisting into a look of frustration.

"Being a one-armed hero is one thing, but marrying little Sakura? That's completely unnecessary!" Sasuke shook his head, firmly rejecting the idea.

What the original Sasuke thought didn't matter now. The current Sasuke's soul had been replaced by someone from another world—a being from Blue Star.

"No matter what happens, I won't marry little Sakura. Even Ino is far better!" he muttered. But avoiding Sakura required defeating Naruto. And who could defeat Naruto?

But defeating Naruto wasn't going to be easy. If it hadn't been for Naruto purchasing a special power-up and generously sharing it with Sasuke, the connection between the two would've been non-existent.

Reflecting on his position, Sasuke muttered to himself, "I've been called a genius, but the truth is far from it."

In terms of talent, Sasuke couldn't compare to prodigies like Uchiha Itachi or Hatake Kakashi. Without Naruto's power boost, even the word "genius" felt misplaced when describing Sasuke.

"Now I'm Sasuke, but not the old fool everyone knew," he said firmly.

Sasuke stood up and examined himself in the mirror. He clenched his fists and exhaled sharply.

"Seven days until the graduation exam. This time, I'll be a different Sasuke," he declared.

The original Sasuke, consumed by vengeance against his brother, often lacked the strength to back his claims. This time, Sasuke was determined not to repeat those failures.

"Practice!" Sasuke whispered to himself. "Focus within!"

With determination in his eyes, he moved forward, remembering that as a genius he had to work harder than anyone else.

Although motivated by revenge, the original Sasuke was too weak, unable to overcome the limits of his own strength. Every attempt to act cool failed. But with his determination, the new Sasuke would not let past mistakes hold him back.

Training was everything now. He would focus on developing his chakra, striving to be better than before, far beyond his original self.

Sasuke focused on developing his chakra. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but as a genius, he believed that even the smallest improvement would make a difference. What mattered was the quality, not the quantity, of chakra. Sasuke pushed himself even harder, determined to surpass his original self and avoid making the same mistakes again.

"Soon, I will be stronger than everyone else, and no one will look down on me. Not even Naruto."

With renewed purpose, Sasuke set out to prepare himself for the future, step by step.

After three days in this world, Sasuke had absorbed all of the original Sasuke's memories. However, despite his newfound knowledge, it was impossible for him to go out and start practicing ninjutsu right away. The political climate in Konoha was deep and complicated, and Sasuke could not risk drawing attention too soon.

For now, staying home was the best option. He decided to focus on refining his chakra, which was not a quick process, but could still provide some improvement if he worked hard enough.

Despite his "genius" status, Sasuke knew that he was much weaker than he should be. His chakra reserves were minimal, and his Sharingan was still in its rudimentary stage. However, he was determined to push his limits and become stronger than the original Sasuke.

After hours of refining his chakra, Sasuke finally noticed a small improvement. However, he quickly became disillusioned. "At this rate, I'll need another ten years to increase my chakra by 10%!" he muttered. "Is that really all there is to a genius?"

Just as Sasuke was about to give up and think of other ways, he felt a strange presence inside him.
