"Oh! Ok." Abigail said excitedly.
"Abigail…do you remember anything about your childhood?" Daniel asked her worriedly.
"Of course I do? I'm an only child. I had no friends when I was younger. My grades were all A's and B's. My parents used to love me too." Abigail said, listing all of the things that she remembered.
"There is something that you don't know because your memories were wiped." Daniel told her sadly.
"What do you mean my memories were wiped?!" Abigail said in shock.
"We were friends. But every time you made friends, they wiped your memories. They didn't want anyone knowing that you were being trained as a weapon." Daniel explained to her.
"How do I know if you're lying or not?" Abigail asked him suspiciously.
Daniel put his bag on the ground and started searching in his bag. Then he pulled out a small capsule out of his bag. There was light blue liquid inside the small capsule. Then he kindly handed the small capsule to Abigail after he had found it.
"This potion will give you back all of your memories. The potion is the only proof of showing you that I'm not lying." Daniel told her truthfully.
"Is there anything else that might happen when I drink the potion?" Abigail asked him.
"I don't know. But all I know is that it will give you all of your memories that they took from you. Besides, I just hope this works." Daniel explained to her.
Abigail opened the capsule and drank the light blue liquid. After she drank the potion, she could feel the side effects starting to happen. As Abigail started to feel dizzy and lightheaded, she saw so many memories that she had never remembered just flashing before her eyes. After that happened, Abigail blacked out and collapsed to the ground.
The next morning Abigail woke up in a hospital bed! She looked around and found Daniel sleeping in a chair next to her bed. She looked at the clock on her side table and it was 7:40am. Then she got out of bed and saw a new pair of clothes sitting on the couch across from her bed.
"I have an idea!" Abigail thought to herself.
She grabbed Daniel's bag and searched to see what he had. Abigail looked carefully through his bag to see what she could take without him noticing anything was gone. Abigail didn't want to wait until he woke up because she didn't know who to trust. Abigail wanted to go alone so she could stay safe because who knew if Daniel was working for the director!
"Where do you think you're going?" Daniel asked as he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"D-Daniel. . . I know you have liked me since we were kids. But I think it would be better if we stayed away from each other. I don't want to put you in danger." Abigail told him sadly.
"I will protect you! I don't care how bad the situation is! I would do anything to be there for you. Just give me a chance!" Daniel told Abigail declaring his love for her.
"Fine! But this doesn't mean we're together. If you also turn on me, I have no choice but to destroy you." Abigail said to him seriously.
"There is a place that I must take you though. I was requested to bring you to them. That is why I came to find you." Daniel demanded her as he tried to grab her wrist.
"Who is the person that wants to see me?" Abigail asked Daniel as she moved her wrist away from him.
"I have been told not to tell." Daniel said
"Now you're being difficult." Abigail said, rolling her eyes at him.
"How am I being difficult if I am simply telling you what I'm not allowed to say?" Daniel asked Abigail as he chuckled a little bit.
"Just take me to them." Abigail told him sarcastically.
"Then, shall we head north?" Daniel said in excitement.
Abigail and Daniel gathered their things to leave and went out the back door. When Abigail left the hospital, it looked like it was abandoned and she could smell a different cologne nearby. Then she quickly grabbed Daniel and pulled him behind her. They had to be ready for whatever came their way. So Abigail got into a fighting stance just in case the person hiding decided to attack Daniel and her.
"What are you doing? We have to leave!" Daniel asked in confusion.
"I'm smelling a different cologne. There is someone nearby and I'm pretty sure that they will not be nice. It's also a male, but I can't tell what species it is." Abigail explained to Daniel
"We could fly and get away." Daniel said, spreading his wings as he was about to fly up in the air.
Abigail angrily grabbed Daniel's left leg and pulled him down hard. Then pulled him behind her so she could protect Daniel since he was requested to bring her to whoever wanted to see her.
"Are you crazy?! They would have the chance to shoot you down if they had a weapon. They could also shoot your wings and then you wouldn't be able to fly after that." Abigail explained to him rudely.
Suddenly, the stranger in the bushes leaped out toward Abigail. As they leaped towards Abigail, she quickly dodged their attack and put her foot in the way. When the stranger tripped from her foot, she grabbed the stranger from behind and slammed them to the ground. Daniel quickly froze their hands to the closest tree and froze their feet to the ground. When Abigail was able to step back for safety, she gasped when she saw who the stranger was.
"Tristin!" Abigail said in shock while she was trying not to cry.
"Hey sweetheart. I was wondering when you would notice that it was me." Tristen said with a grin.
"Daniel! Release Tristin right now!" Abigail demanded turning to Daniel.
"B-B-But what if he tries to kill you?"Daniel said worriedly.
"I said to release him Daniel!" Abigail demanded rudely.
Daniel rolled his eyes and released him. Abigail ran over to Tristin and kissed him happily. Tristin kissed her back passionately and he pulled Abigail closer to him and held her in his arms.
"I thought I would never find you again!" Tristin told her with tears in his eyes.
"I thought I would never see or remember you again!" Abigail said crying in his arms.
"Sweetheart, How did you get your memories back?" Tristin asked in confusion.
"Daniel helped me get my memories back. He made a potion for me." Abigail said with a smile while she was still crying.
"Alright, love birds! Explain yourselves so I know what's going on." Daniel said with a disapproving look.
"Tristin and I have been dating since the 9th grade." Abigail explained happily to Daniel.
"You started dating the year I left?! Why? I thought you liked me!" Daniel said angrily.
"Daniel, I only thought of you as a friend. I started having feelings for Tristin in 9th grade." Abigail told Daniel.
"Dude…you can't force someone to love you. That's not how relationships work. I don't mean to be rude but I'm trying to give you advice. If she doesn't like you, then don't force her to." Tristin told him nicely.
"You need to stay out of this! Though you stole her from me! This is between her and I" Daniel roared at Tristin angrily.
"Daniel, I don't know what else to tell you! When you left 9th grade, I tried to find you everywhere. You were nowhere to be found. I lost feeling for you a long time ago." Abigail explained to Daniel while trying to hold back the tears.
"Why didn't you wait until I came back?!" Daniel asked Angrily.
"I didn't know whether you were coming back or not. When I found Tristin, I started having feelings for him. Are you mad that we're dating?" Abigail said in frustration.
"Yes! I have had feelings for you! I came to find you so we could be together!" Daniel told her angrily.
"Then why didn't you ask me earlier?" Abigail asked in frustration.
"There are more important things going on right now." Daniel said sadly.
"What is more important than her that you're so worried about?!" Tristin asked Daniel rudely.
"Having a full time job and serving the new queen." Daniel told Tristin.
"New queen!" Abigail said in shock.
"The queen's daughter is becoming the new queen. She was devastated when she found her mother dead on her throne." Daniel explained to Abigail.
"What if someone tries to kill her too? Then Abigail wouldn't be able to meet her aunt." Tristin asked worriedly.
"Don't worry! I have everything taken care of. That was why I was coming to get Abigail. She had requested me to come find Abigail." Daniel explained to them.
Suddenly, there was a noise that sounded like it was nearby. The three of them looked at each other and got ready for whatever was about to come at them.
"Did y'all hear that?" Abigail asked the boys as she froze.
"I didn't really hear it but I saw something move in the distance." Daniel told her while focusing where the movement was.
"No. But I'm with Daniel. I just saw the movements." Tristen told her.
As a dark figure came stepping out of the shadow's and into the light, Abigail was in shock to see someone that she once thought was dead.
"Damone! You're alive!" Abigail said in shock.
"We have to stop Troy! He's taking Meria to the lab. He's working for the director. I figured it out earlier while we were escaping whoever found us. I tried to ask him questions but he kept on avoiding my questions. He knew that I was close to figuring out his secret. When we were escaping the house, He secretly knocked me out with a spell and left me in a ditch. We need to find Troy!" Damone explained in an angry tone.
"How did you find me?" Abigail asked him in suspension.
"The flower on your hair clip, I turned it into a tracker when you were asleep one night in the tent. I tried to follow Meria and Troy but I had lost them." Damone explained to abigail.
"So while Abigail was with me, you were following us?" Daniel asked Damone in confusion.
"Yes, I was. I also noticed that you gave her a memory potion. I'm guessing Troy wiped her memory too?" Damone Asked Daniel.
"He wiped my memory after he killed Weston and then he took Meria." Abigail told him sadly.
"So…what about weston? Where is his body?" Damone asked Abigail in shock.
"It's somewhere near the place that we camped that night that we lost you." Abigail explained.
"Alright. We need to find food for lunch and then we can go find Troy." Tristin suggested.
"That sounds great. I'm really hungry." Abigail said as her stomach growled.
"I have some sandwiches and snacks in my bag." Daniel told them.
"That's great! Let's eat because I'm starving." Abigail said happily.
As they all ate, they talked about each of their backstories and then what led to them being wanted by the director. They also planned out how they were going to stop the director from taking over the country. They must start their journey by heading to the queen's castle first before finding Troy and then start raising an army to stop the director.
After they were done eating lunch, they all packed up and started their journey together. They soon came upon a city then looked at each other and knew the drill. They would all pick-pocket people to collect stuff that they think is useful.
"We must pick-pocket the rich people because they will most likely have what we need. Do not pick-pocket the poor people because of how little they have. We must give mercy to the poor people. Once you're done pick-pocketing, meet me on the other side of town at 3:00pm. We have 2 hours to gather things we need and it is 12;30pm right now. I will see y'all soon! Ya'll must go now." Damone explained before he went his separate way.
Abigail saw a house for sale and decided to take a look in the house. She flew over to the fence and tried to open the back door. But the door locked. So she slipped into one of the back windows that was unlocked. When she got into the house, she walked into the kitchen to see what she could find. When Abigail walked into the kitchen, she could not believe what she just found sitting in the kitchen!
"Could this be a trap or was this left behind not wanted?" Abigail thought to herself.
