Chereads / Apocalypse: I Build My Own Harem Army of Women / Chapter 5 - Don't talk to me about conditions

Chapter 5 - Don't talk to me about conditions

She came from an official family; her father was a diplomat, and she had been pampered from a young age, never having suffered such an ordeal before.

"Damn you all, lackeys, a scholar can be killed but not humiliated!"

Before Abigail could resist, she was restrained by several rich second-generation kids, held down on the ground and unable to move.

 "Let me go, you bastards!"

 Abigail was still struggling hysterically.

Benjamin's eyes held a malicious glint; as a playboy and a lecher, he had long coveted Abigail.

He had not had the chance before, but now, he planned to take his pleasure first and deal with the consequences later.

 "I'll go first!"

"Benjamin, you bastard, my father is a diplomat. If you bully me, my father won't let you off!"

"Still talking about your father? Don't be naive. After I'm done with you, if I ever meet him, I'll tell him you were eaten by zombies. What can he do to me?"

Hearing Benjamin's words, Abigail was plunged into deep despair.

"Better cooperate and let me have my fun. Don't forget how miserable those people were when they were eaten by zombies on our way here?"

Abigail continued to struggle, resisting hysterically.

"If you don't cooperate, I'll throw you out to the zombies!"

Abigail broke down instantly, tears streaming down her face.

She didn't wish for a hero to come from the sky; she only prayed not to suffer such a great humiliation.

Just when all hope seemed lost,

Suddenly, a figure burst through the window, it was Sterling, descending from the heavens!

In Abigail's desperate eyes, a gleam of hope was rekindled.

Sterling was still in mid-air, not yet having touched the ground, when he aimed his double-barreled shotgun and pulled the trigger in one fluid motion.

 "BANG"

The loud gunshot roared like thunder in the empty stadium.

 "CRASH"

The lackeys who were tearing at Abigail's clothes were scattered by the unexpected shot.

Sterling landed, racked the slide, and aimed at the lackey Benjamin.

 "BANG"

Unfortunately, a fleeing lackey stumbled in front of Benjamin, taking the shot meant for him.

 "CRACK"

The male student hit by the gunshot was instantly decapitated, his head exploding like a watermelon, splattering Benjamin with blood.

 "AH!"

Benjamin was terrified by the gruesome scene and fell to the ground with a thud.

 Abigail stumbled towards Sterling.

 "Help, save me..."

This gave Benjamin the opportunity to grab Abigail, pressing a sharp dagger against her neck.

"Don't move! If you shoot again, I'll kill her first!"

Benjamin's voice trembled with fear, as anyone would when aimed at by a gun.

Sterling aimed his gun with one hand, his eyes filled with unspent rage.

"Sterling, we're just having fun, don't be impulsive!"

Benjamin tried to argue, deliberately stalling for time.

"Just having fun, I'll shoot you dead, is that also just having fun?"

The lives of Abigail and her classmates were in someone else's hands, not to mention that the shotgun was out of bullets.

"Stop talking nonsense, put the gun down, no, give me the gun."

Benjamin was very wary of the gun and immediately thought of exchanging a person for the gun; with the gun, he would still have the upper hand.

"Give me the gun, and I'll let her go right away, or I'll stab her to death now!" Benjamin threatened again, shouting loudly.

"Don't, Sterling, save me, I don't want to die..."

Abigail was crying profusely, her voice choked with tears.

"If you touch her, I'll shoot you dead!"

Sterling's eyes were bloodshot as he faced off against Benjamin.

 However, at that moment.

The local students closed in from all sides, shouting and drawing their guns in a standoff.

 "Put the gun down!"

 "Who told you to shoot!"

 "Who are you?"

Sterling did not give in to them, facing off against these local students with his gun, creating a stalemate where neither side would yield.

"Come on, let's die together, shoot!"

Countless gun barrels were aimed at Sterling, but he was not intimidated in the slightest.

"Sterling, let me advise you, it's the end of the world now, and there are zombies outside. We don't need to risk our lives for a woman, it's not worth it!"

"Let the students go, and we'll leave each other alone."

Sterling remained steadfast with his gun, not yielding an inch.

"Don't talk to me about conditions. There are zombies everywhere outside, and only by working together can we survive."

"As long as you hand over the gun, you can have your way with the women here, how about that?"

There were many female international students present, most of whom had already been bullied. Hearing Benjamin say this, they all showed expressions of shame and anger, lowering their heads and crying.

Abigail's reaction was also significant, staring intently at Sterling, fearing that he would agree to the beasts' terms.

"I am a human, not an animal!"

Sterling's attitude was resolute. He was not a beast like Benjamin, who had the face of a man but the heart of a beast. He would never take advantage of his fellow women in times of crisis.

"Sterling, don't be ungrateful. The world has changed. Talking about morality and ethics is useless in the end times. People like us are the ones who can live comfortably."

Benjamin's smile on his face became more and more distorted. He had become infatuated with the lawless world in recent days.

He held the power of life and death over others, and he could take any woman he wanted. He had never felt so comfortable in his twenty years of life as he did now.

Before, he was just a rich second-generation idler, loafing around, waiting for death, living no better than the dead.

But things were different after the outbreak of the end times. He could do whatever he wanted, act without restraint, and be lawless.

This was the unrestrained freedom he wanted!

Just as Benjamin was acting arrogantly, he was suddenly slapped on the back of the head.

"What are you talking about?"

The one who hit him was a local student, an athlete, tall, strong, and burly.

Benjamin wanted to get angry, but as soon as he saw him, he immediately backed down.

"Nothing, we are negotiating!"

"Negotiate nothing!"

The classmate shouted:

"I see you as a man, I'll give you a chance, hand over the gun and join us!"

"You want my gun too?"

Sterling looked at him, his face expression showing confusion, as if he hadn't heard clearly.

"Yes, give me the gun, I'll protect you, and you can have any girl here!"

This man smiled wickedly, his big white teeth very glaring.

Sterling looked around, sneered in his heart, and then handed the gun to him.

"If you want it, take it."

Sterling also smiled innocently and brightly.
