***Alpha Raymond's House***

"Honey, it's been 18 years since that incident and the night of the full moon is fast approaching, we have to tell Helios about his real identity" Luna Cheryl said.
"You know he can't know about that at least not yet" Alpha Raymond replied.
"I'm not talking about the prophecy, I'm talking about his real identity as a werewolf, he would most likely transform this full moon, so we need to prepare him for that" Luna Cheryl said.
"You have a point, but how do we tell him without him wanting to go back, he needs a pack, oh this part of the whole ordeal is the most frustrating" Alpha Raymond said.
"I'm sure we will figure out something, what ever it is we have to tell him fast" Luna Cheryl said.
"I miss my dear old friend, his demise came as a shock to me. I feel guilty about it everyday" Alpha Raymond rubbed his forehead with his palm.
"It's not your fault dear, we only did what we were told, we couldn't have controlled the circumstances surrounding it" Luna Cheryl comforted her husband.
"Poor Hera, I always wondered how she is faring. If we didn't leave the pack like that, Alpha Mark wouldn't have taken over and he wouldn't have been killed by those who thought he got stronger" Alpha Raymond shook his head.
"You still stay in touch?,"
"Not since my friend was killed. Helios will be back from the restaurant soon, we'll tell him about it all tonight " Alpha Raymond said.
"Mom, Dad, I'm back" Helios announced as he pulled his slippers by the door and hung his coat.
"Welcome, how was sales today, your father and I decided to take the day off as today wasn't a busy day " Luna Cheryl said.
"It's alright mom, how are you feeling now" Helios kissed his mother on the cheek.
"Better now that I've seen you " Luna Cheryl teased
"Dad, Mr Richard stopped by, he asked me to give this to you " Helios dropped a box on the table.
"Thank you son. I know you are tired and exhausted but I'll like you to sit, there's something important we need to discuss with you and it's urgent" Alpha Raymond said.
"Alright Dad, what's going on" Helios sat across his parents.
Alpha Raymond told him everything about who they are and how they had to leave their pack but he didn't tell him the reason.
"Wait let me get this straight, We are werewolves and I can also shape shift?, Is this some kind of prank" Helios look from his dad to his mom.
"No son, everything your father has said, the reason we left is the related to why you must keep that bracelet on at all times " Luna Cheryl explained.
"Son, the full moon is in a few days, we will take you camping so you can change, the first time can be really painful so you would need someone there to guide you through. " Alpha Raymond explained.
"I need time to process everything you've just told me" Helios stood up and went upstairs.
The Brave Pack
Hera had just finished washing the clothes when she heard Selene calling her name.
"You called for me" She said as soon as she stepped in the room.
"Are you done washing those clothes?" Selene asked and Hera nodded.
"Answer me when I talk to you princess" Selene said mockingly.
"I know you wish you were one" Hera replied rudely and Selene slapped her.
"You still haven't learnt any manners in all your years of staying here, you may be betrothed to him but you should know that the prince is mine no matter what" Selene said.
"The mere fact that you think I want him is the very base of your delusion. You don't know how happy I am to give him to you. Nobody wants a snob" Hera spat back at Selene.
"Don't you dare talk of prince Zack in that manner again!" Selene tried slapping Hera againbut Hera held her hand this time.
"Sometimes I think you forget that you are just a low life Omega, who only gets the over pampered prince's attention because he needs a toy, he'll discard you soon enough" Hera forcefully dropped Selene's hands and left the room.
Selene storm out of the room and went to meet Prince Zack in his chambers.
"He's busy right now" Stephen, Zack's best friend and soon to be Beta , stopped her at the door.
"Tell him I said it's urgent, I need to tell him to keep Hera in cheek" Selene screamed out the words and Prince Zack opened the door minutes later.
"What is it Selene, you can't be here?" Prince Zack said but Selene shove past him and entered his office.
"That... That Hera slapped me on the cheek" Selene lied.
"So?, Why should I care about that, I've told you severally that Hera is my betrothed and I am only with you because I can't be with her yet as she has not transformed yet."
"I don't care as long as you are with me now, you can't just stand back and watch her be rude to me" Selene pretended to cry.
"I'm not with you Selene, you know what?, Leave my office, I'll come see you when I'm done here" Prince Zack pushed Selene out of the office lightly and bolted the door.
At the Courtyard
"Did you slap her back?" Princess Sylvia asked.
"No I didn't, but the things I told her are worst than me slapping her back" Hera smiled at her friend.
"That's why I love you, that girl annoys me, serves her well"
"Enough of Selene, Do you think Michael will be your mate?" Hera asked excitedly and Princess Sylvia smiled.
"I hope so, we are dating already so I hope the moon goddess make us mates" Princess Sylvia smiled shyly.
"What about you, Do you think my brother is your mate?"
"I hope not, though I think my real mate must have been killed alongside my pack" Hera said sadly.
"I'm sorry Hera, I'm really sorry about what my dad did to your parents and your people" Princess Sylvia held Hera's hands.
"Don't be silly, non of it is your fault. I'm good, we need to get our dress for the induction ceremony after the full moon" Hera changed the subject.
16 hours before full moon
"We are here" Alpha Raymond announced.
They all alighted from the van and started packing out their camping gears
"I hope this is a good decision and he doesn't get into any danger" Luna Cheryl folded her arms worriedly
"He'll be fine" Alpha Raymond looked at Helios who was setting up the tent and he held his wife's hand.
"Come let's go help him" Luna Cheryl said.
They sent up the tents and sat waiting for the full moon.
"Let me get this straight will you guys change too?" Helios asked
"Yes, it's the full moon, you can't hold it back in. Normally it's done with a pack, but we disconnected from ours so we will do it alone" Luna Cheryl explained.
"The first time is the hardest, it's going to feel like your bones are crushing from inside but you'll be fine, the first time is usually the hardest." Alpha Raymond comforted his son.
When the full moon appeared, Helios felt like his skin was on fire, he could feel his clothes tearing off, he looked at his parents, he knew they were there but he couldn't see properly. His ear was ringing continuously and he could hear and feel his bones crashing.
In a matter of seconds, he had transformed into the biggest wolf his parents had ever seen.
The Brave Pack
"I'm so happy Michael is your mate," Hera smiled at Princess Sylvia.
"I know, me too. The moon goddess is indeed merciful" Princess Sylvia smiled back.
"So you really can't smell your mate?" Princess Sylvia asked.
"No I can't and I'm worried that I'll be without one" Hera said.
"That should be the least of your worry, look" Princess Sylvia pointed towards Zack and Selene.
Hera saw Selene holding Zack closely while Zack was trying to push Selene out of his body, Selene caught her staring at them, she left Zack and walked towards Hera and she knew immediately that she was doomed.
"Why is she coming this way?" Princess Sylvia asked as Selene walked towards them.
"Trouble, I guess" Hera replied.
"Guess who doesn't have a mate?" Selene laughed loudly.
"Oh, please keep him. I never wanted him anyway" Hera scoffed. Just then Zack walked towards them angrily.
"Selene, I already told you I can't be your mate, you are not fit to be my Luna. I PRINCE ZACK of the Brave Pack rejects you Selene " Zack said and Selene clutched her chest tightly in pain, tears streaming down her eyes.
Hera saw that Zack was also in pain but he was trying to hold back.
"You are Mine!!" He screamed at Hera before storming out of the induction ceremony.
"I will come for you" Selene said to Hera before running after Zack.
"I'm doomed" Hera said to herself.
