The scene shows Shinji sweating profusely in the sun as he walked up a mountain , opening his mouth wide because of the heat.
As he continued to walk up the mountain, he saw a gate far away with two guards in front of it.
"I'm almost there, just a little longer"
As he got closer to the gate,he became even weaker than he already was and a distance from the gate ,he collapsed .
Before he lost consciousness,he saw a blurry image of the two guards running towards him.
"Hey,hey ,hey,you alright kiddo?"one of the guards shouted as he ran towards the collapsed Shinji.
As the guard got in front of Shinji and checked him, confirming that he was unconscious,he said
". , I'll take him to the village clinic,stay in the watch post"
He then carried Shinji bridal style, running into the village .
Shinji woke up moments later on a hospital bed,as he looked to his side ,he saw the guard who brought him there.
"Oh you're awake, that makes this easier"he said
"Firstly,who are you?, you must be from the Homuragi clan,given your hair color"he said
"My name is Shinji Homuragi, please before you ask me anymore,I was given this scroll by my father to be given to the Kaminari Socho , please, it's very urgent"Shinji said,invoking a sense of urgency as he brought out the scroll from his left pocket.
"Okay, I'll make sure this scroll is delivered"the guard said as he left the hospital room.
"This is a relief, finally I'm here in the Nexus village , I wonder what will happen now, Tou-san said I would understand when I got here"
SCENE SHIFT -KAMINARI SOCHO'S OFFICE
The office of Kaminari Socho, a humble abode of contemplation and creativity, nestled within the bustling streets of Edo. As one steps across the threshold, the soft glow of lanterns, suspended from the ceiling like delicate fireflies, casts a warm, golden light upon the rustic, wooden furnishings.
The air is thick with the scent of old parchment and the faint hint of incense, carried on the whispers of the wind. The walls, adorned with the gentle, sweeping curves of traditional Japanese calligraphy, seem to whisper secrets to one another, their soft, muted tones a testament to the passage of time.
In the center of the room, a low, wooden desk, polished to a warm sheen by the touch of countless hands, stands as a testament to the diligence and dedication of its occupant. The surface, cluttered with an assortment of curious objects – a well-worn inkstone, a scattering of brush pens, and a dog-eared manuscript – speaks to the creative fervor that drives Kaminari Socho's diligent work.
The Kaminari Socho is shown zipping tea at his desk when his door is suddenly knocked.
"Come in "he said ,his calm voice filled with authority.
The guard came inside and walked to the center of the room ,bowing down to show utmost respect to the Socho
"I'm very sorry for this interruption but there's something very important that I need to tell you"he said with utmost respect
"Don't worry about it, what happened?,is there trouble at the gates?"The Socho asked
"No , it's something completely different, Socho -sama "
"So what is it "
"A kid from the Homuragi clan collapsed in front of the gate.i took him to the village clinic and when he came to,he told me to deliver this scroll to you,he said it is very urgent "he said ashe handed the scroll over to the Socho.
As the Socho collected the scroll ,he saw the Homuragi clan fire emblem on it.
"The fact that Enji sent this can only mean one thing... The Homuragi clan has fallen"
He thought with a grim expression on his face.
"Where is the boy now?"
"He should still be in the village clinic "the guard responded
"Okay,I would like to go meet him "
"Okay Socho -sama , I'll lead the way "the guard said as the Socho wore his cloak and they both left the office.
When the both of them got to the front of the hospital, they were being followed by a woman carrying a tray filled with Tonkatsu.
They entered the clinic and went directly to Shinji's ward.As they entered,they saw Shinji sitting up with a sad expression on his face.
The Socho sat down on a chair beside him and the woman set the tray on a small stool that she set on Shinji's legs.
"Ohhhh,is that for me?"Shinji asked as his dad expression was immediately replaced with a happy one.
"Yes it is ,eat your fill "the Socho said with a smile.
"Itadikimasu !"he said the traditional Japanese prayer, putting his hands together before digging into the food .
He devoured the food,eating it like a monster because he had not eaten for 3days.
"I said eat your fill ,but I didn't think you would be able to finish the whole thing"The Socho said.
When Shinji was done eating,the Socho finally spoke up
"My name is Tora Kaminari, what's yours young child?"
"I'm Shinji Homuragi "
"You're the son of Enjin Homuragi, the Enketsu Socho, you dad was my old friend"
Tora said
"How did you know that I liked Tonkatsu?"
"I knew because it was practically your dad's favorite back in the day...So tell me why you're here and what happened to your clan."Tora said
As his asked this, Shinji's expression became grim "They were all killed by those merciless demons "
"You mean Shadows "
"Yes,they slaughtered every single one of them and I was only able to survive because my father saved me,in exchange for his own life "Shinji said,tears welling up in his eyes
"Those shadows can't have done that by themselves, there had to be someone leading them, do you remember anyone like that?"
Yes ,there was one big shadow that had horns,he was the one who killed the remaining villagers including my father,he was very scary and he said something like he has eliminated an obstruction to their plan and that master will be pleased"Shinji said
"Which plan do shadows have...oh no ,Maoshi.I need to talk to the other Socho's about this"he thought
"That's enough information for me, take care kiddo, I'll come back for you when you're ready to be discharged."Tora said, ruffling Shinji's hair and he walked out of the room.
He walked very fast through the hallway as he said
"Raiten"
"Yes Socho -sama"said the Socho's personal guard who had been following him .
"Send messangers to all remaining four village Socho that we have a meeting.
"Okay, Socho -sama."Raiten said as he ran out of the clinic.
"This matter is very serious and will quickly escalate into something big"
