Ethan ran across campus, his heart pounding. Then he reached the physics lab and ran into Dr. King's office. He knocked on the door and a soft voice called him in.
Dr. Sophia King looked up from her desk, her eyes bright with interest. "Ah, you must be the guy who asked about the paranormal," he said, in a faint Korean accent.
Ethan nodded, feeling relieved. "I heard the broadcast on the radio... it predicted disaster. The bell tower fell
Dr. King's voice grew louder. "What. When did you hear this radio? "
Ethan looked at his watch. "About 20 minutes ago. The radio announced that the tragedy would happen at 3:14 am. "
Dr. King nodded thoughtfully. "I think I know what can happen here. But first let me ask you something. Have you ever had any... unusual experiences before?"
Ethan hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. But Dr. King's kindness and nonjudgmental attitude encouraged him. "I've had strange experiences since I was a little girl," he admitted. "The door opened on its own. . But I always thought it was my imagination."
Dr. King nodded sympathetically. "I think you may be more sensitive to the supernatural than you know. And this show...maybe more than fiction."
Dr. King leaned forward and stared at Ethan, whose eyes widened. "I think we're dealing with more than just a prediction. I think we're dealing with warnings from the other side.".
