"HELL FLARE!" I shouted, thrusting my hand forward.

A sphere of fiery energy burst from my palm, streaking toward her with a roar of heat. The flames engulfed her, but when the smoke cleared, she stood unscathed. Only faint scorch marks marred her clothes. My attack had barely made a dent.

I landed lightly on my feet, springing forward without hesitation. My fists clenched as I charged at her, aiming a punch at her midsection. She sidestepped gracefully, her movements fluid and precise. Spinning around to follow her, I quickly summoned another spell.

"ICICLE LANCE!"

Three sharp spears of ice materialized in front of me, launching toward her in rapid succession. Frost ducked and weaved between them effortlessly, her agility almost supernatural. Frustration simmered beneath my skin, but I pushed it aside and pressed on.

Closing the gap between us once more, I waited until I was within twenty feet before activating my next move.

"MIST OF DEATH!"

Thick, gray mist poured from my hands, swirling across the battlefield and shrouding Frost from view. The air grew heavy with a faint metallic tang, the magic sapping energy from anything it touched. Within the mist, faint sparks crackled as I prepared my next strike.

"DRAGON LIGHTNING!"

A bolt of purple lightning shot through the haze, striking Frost with a sharp crack. She let out a low grunt of surprise, but when the mist dissipated, I saw that she'd only taken a sliver of damage. Her expression remained calm and composed, as if the attack had barely phased her.

Raising one hand, Frost shook her head, her gaze steady. "You're holding back," she said simply.

I exhaled, rubbing the back of my neck with a sheepish smile. "Well, I do have these weighted bracelets on, so yeah…"

Frost sighed, the faintest hint of amusement crossing her features. "Do you want to keep training with me or focus on the others?"

I glanced over at the group waiting nearby. Their curious eyes watched our sparring session, no doubt wondering if they'd be next. After a moment of consideration, I gave Frost a nod.

"Yeah, I think I'll train them for now. That okay with you?"

"Fine," she replied with a shrug. "But you owe me next time."

"Deal."

Turning away from Frost, I crossed the clearing to where Alucard stood overseeing the others. He glanced at me as I approached, his crimson eyes calm but curious.

"Take Asia and train her separately," I instructed, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I'm going to have a little fun with the rest of them."

Alucard nodded without question, gesturing for Asia to follow him as they walked off into the woods. I watched them go, then turned back to the others with a grin that made Issei visibly pale.

"Okay," I announced, clapping my hands together. "Now for the real training."

Issei took a step back, eyes wide with alarm. "Shit—the sadist is back!"

"Oh, don't worry." My grin widened as I gestured to the clearing around us. "Only one of you will die."

Rias frowned. "So… what exactly is this training?"

Instead of answering, I raised my hands and activated the summoning spell.

Hundreds of summoning circles appeared on the ground, their glowing blue runes spreading out in a wide arc across the field. Foul, rotting hands burst from the earth as zombies began to crawl out, their hollow eyes glowing faintly with a sinister light. Within moments, the field was filled with the undead—groaning, shambling, and reaching out with skeletal fingers.

The stench of decay hit the air like a punch to the face. Bones cracked and joints popped as the zombies staggered toward the group, their tattered clothes clinging to their withered frames.

I crossed my arms and watched the chaos unfold.

"Survive," I said simply.

Before anyone could react, I leaped backward, landing beside Frost as the first wave of zombies swarmed toward the others.

Issei cursed loudly, scrambling back with a panicked expression. "What the hell is wrong with you?!"

Rias and Kiba summoned their weapons, their faces set with determination. Akeno's hands crackled with lightning as she took a defensive stance. Koneko cracked her knuckles and stepped forward without hesitation.

Frost stood beside me, her arms crossed as she observed the scene with a faint smile.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" she asked.

"Oh, absolutely," I replied, my grin widening as the first clash of magic and steel echoed across the field.

….

The group was holding their ground, but exhaustion was starting to show. Sweat dripped from their brows, their breaths came in ragged gasps, and the remaining hundred zombies pressed forward relentlessly. Despite their fatigue, they fought on, determination burning in their eyes.

Standing off to the side, I observed them closely with my arms crossed. I had instructed everyone not to intervene—they needed to understand how their current strength compared to mine. Only Asia stood ready, prepared to heal them if I deemed it absolutely necessary.

"Hmm… what do you think, Alucard?" I asked without taking my eyes off the scene.

Alucard stood beside me, his crimson eyes reflecting the faint glow of magical attacks lighting up the battlefield. "They're holding up well. They might actually have a chance," he replied thoughtfully.

Frost, watching from my other side, tilted her head slightly. "Yes, but more training is essential. If they're going to face Riser's peerage, they need to push past their limits."

Alucard chuckled softly. "Speaking of training, Frost… how about a duel?"

Frost glanced at him with a playful smile. "Oh? Feeling confident, are we? Very well, I accept."

Their duel began, but my focus remained on the group. Their stamina was dwindling, but they fought on, striking down the remaining zombies one by one until the last undead creature crumbled to dust. I gave a small nod of approval.

"Alright, Asia," I called. "Heal them up."

Asia hurried forward, her hands glowing with a soft golden light as she moved between her teammates, restoring their energy and healing their injuries.

….

With everyone recovered, I stepped forward and faced the group.

"You all did a decent job," I said, nodding slightly.
