Chapter 1 - Wish to Marry Him

Episode 1: The Beginning of Innocence

In the small town of Rosewood, nestled between rolling hills and thick woods, there lived a young girl named Lily. She was a gentle soul, known for her kindness and sweet heart. Her laughter was the kind that could lift anyone's spirits, and her smile was a ray of sunshine, brightening even the darkest days. Lily was the kind of girl who always put others before herself—helping the elderly cross the street, offering a kind word to a crying friend, or volunteering to clean the local park. She had a heart of gold and a spirit full of innocence.

At the age of six, Lily's world was a playground filled with the innocence of childhood. She had a best friend, a boy named Ethan. Ethan was a year older than her and shared her love for adventure. Together, they explored the woods near their town, picking wildflowers, climbing trees, and imagining fantastical worlds. Ethan was quiet, but Lily always found a way to bring out his laughter, even if it was just with her funny stories or the way she twirled in her pink dress.

One sunny afternoon, as the two children sat by the edge of a sparkling creek, Lily's small hands delicately picked at the wildflowers around her, weaving them into a crown. She looked up at Ethan, who was skipping stones across the water.

"Ethan," she said, her voice soft and full of wonder, "I'm going to marry someone one day."

Ethan paused mid-skip, his brow furrowed in thought. He wasn't sure he understood what marriage meant, but he knew it was important. He looked back at her, a puzzled expression on his face.

"Who are you going to marry?" he asked innocently, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Lily smiled, her cheeks rosy from the sunlight. She held up the flower crown she had made, placing it gently on her head. "I don't know yet," she said dreamily. "But I want to marry someone kind, someone who makes me laugh and who is always there when I need them."

Ethan watched her with a soft smile. Even though he didn't fully understand what marriage was, he knew one thing—he liked spending time with Lily. She was his best friend, and nothing made him happier than being by her side.

"I'll always be here for you, Lily," Ethan said seriously, his small hand gently brushing hers. "We can always be best friends."

Lily's heart fluttered in her chest. She didn't fully comprehend the weight of Ethan's words, but in that moment, she felt something warm and comforting, like a promise. She looked at him with trust in her eyes.

"I know, Ethan," she said, her voice full of innocence. "You're my best friend, and I think you're going to be someone very important to me."

From that moment on, the seeds of something unspoken began to grow between them. It wasn't a love that could be named yet—it was a friendship, pure and simple. But deep inside Lily's heart, the idea of one day marrying someone kind, someone who always made her laugh, began to take root.

As the years passed, their bond only grew stronger. Though they both matured into adolescence, their hearts remained tied by the same innocent affection that had begun by the creek all those years ago. And every time Lily thought of the future, she couldn't help but think of Ethan. The little boy who had promised to always be by her side had grown into a young man who was now her best friend, her confidant, and in a way, her first love.

But Lily still had no idea what lay ahead—how much her love for Ethan would grow, or how this innocent wish of one day marrying him would come to mean everything in the years to come.

For now, though, she was content to live in the innocence of youth, cherishing the quiet moments they shared and the unspoken bond that was forming between them.

And so, their story began—one of kindness, friendship, and a love that was yet to be realized.
