On our drive there Ayano was mostly silent and I just spent that time watching out the window, fortunately Ayano seems to be familiar with the area, a little too familiar..
"If you don't mind me asking, do you live around this area?"
"Huh? No I live at *****"
That place was really far from here.. this doesn't add up.
"Also no need to be so formal, 'if you don't mind me asking' that sounds nothing like you."
"I tend to be like this when I'm drunk.."
"See? You even said 'i tend to' Thats wayyyy too formal!"
"Is that so? Either way, anytime I take a cap here the driver gets lost or just drops me off at the wrong place."
"I see."
The silence was loud, very loud.
"May I ask how you know this area well?"
To me, it just all felt to weird. Why DID Ayano of all people know this place in the back of her head?
Actually if I remember properly, i was sleeping on my cheek with my arms covering my face. How did she recognize me in that position?
This all wasn't adding up, i looked to my side to see Ayano smiling.
"Well, it's a pretty long story for another time."
Hmm, maybe i was overthinking this like always. Just the alcohol getting to my head.
"Should i play some music?"
"Uh, sure?"
*the rest of the drive was silent and I naturally started to feel sleepy with the calming piano music playing in the background but I was too wary to fall asleep, with all of there weird coincidences coming one after another, It was all too suspicious..*
But why should I suspect Ayano of all people?
I mean she was helping me right now.
I couldn't help but feel guilty for suspecting her. This was all probably JUST a coincidence.
