As he made his decision, Alex was engulfed by a blinding light. It intensified so dramatically that he was instantly forced to shut his eyes.
He only opened his eyes when the bright effects subsided. He found himself inside a structure resembling a church. Before him stood a nun, clad in white revealing cloths, who greeted him with a smile. Welcome, player xxxx, to the Temple of Job Class."
Her deep-cut dress revealed a generous cleavage adorned with a strange tattoo, instantly capturing Alex's attention.
However, he snapped back to focus when she continued, "From here, you can choose an alias for yourself and select one job class. This choice will be permanent, though you can upgrade your class depending on your initial selection."
Alex found himself more drawn to the Nun than the prospect of choosing a Job Class. "May I know who you are?" he inquired.
The Nun replied with the same serene smile, "I am merely a servant of the divine. You may call me Priestess Shuna."
Alex couldn't help but appraise her from head to toe, realizing that the women in this game were truly exceptional. Any sane person can find himself strangely emboldened, a stark contrast to their usual timid demeanour, by the presence of such a captivating woman.
Alex couldn't help but look at her legs, which were partially visible through the slit in her dress.
He noticed how slender they were. Priestess Shuna, sensing his gaze, said, "You only have 15 minutes here. If you don't choose your Job Class, you'll be given one at random based on your achievements before coming here."
To her surprise, Alex posed an unexpected question: "Is there any chance we might meet again?"
She answered him honestly, "It's impossible, as we exist in two different worlds. However, if you become someone favoured by the gods, perhaps we may meet again." With a flick of her finger, a screen materialized in the air.
Alex interpreted her words as a reflection of the power gap and social status between them, understanding that she implied they inhabited different realities.
He didn't dwell on it much, believing that unless he tried, he would not know. With this thought in mind, he looked at the screen hovering in the air.
