The dense forest was dark and silent, with only a few rays of sunlight sneaking through the thick trees. Shadows danced on the ground, and the air was filled with tension. Heavy breathing and the sound of footsteps pounding against the earth broke the silence.
"Why did I agree to this?!" yelped Celeste, and she ran from the trees on a sprint while sweat dripped down her brow, her cool blue eyes searching frantically, her icy icy blue eyes blinking in panic; behind her there were monstrous beast pack chasing; their blood eyes were like fire glistening.
These were Bloodhounds of Havok, enormous beasts with muscles like steel bands and fangs sharp as knives. They were B-ranked monsters, whose hunting style in their pack was well-known, neither yielding nor backing off from a battle.
