I am the author of this book, Ash Thirumuru, and thank you so much for giving this book a chance.

I wanted to share a few thoughts before you dive in.

This is my first try at writing an action-fantasy story, and I'll admit, I didn't do much planning beforehand. My narration style might feel a little different, and early on, the pacing and character development might not be as polished as I'd like—especially up until around Chapter 45.

However, one thing I won't compromise on is the story itself. It's going to be brutal, intense, and full of surprises.

I promise that beyond Arc 1, narration and characterization will improve vastly as I find my pace.

I therefore ask that you are patient with me as I grow through this story. Your support is the best reward that could come my way.
