A few minutes later, Noah sat on a cushion in the living room playing innocently with Blaky, who had also purred under her gentle strokes. Ronan, Celeste, and Aurelia sat at the dining table with stiffened air, their faces awkwardly puzzled.
"I've told you everything she said," Ronan started, his voice steady.
Celeste crossed her arms, her eyes narrowing. "So, what? You are creating some wild story to cover yourself?"
