Three Years Ago
Aurelia knelt on the ground, panting heavily; sweat dripped down from her face. Her sword was planted in the mud, supporting her tired body. She had just got done with a pretty hot sparring session with Ronan.
"Good job," Ronan said as if it was no effort, but there was just a hint of approval at the end of his statement.
Aurelia turned up, a smile showing through her exhaustion. "Really?
He nodded but added, "But you're not using it until I say so."
Her smile instantly disappeared. "What?! Why not?"
Ronan crossed his arms and smirked. "Because your regular form is already strong enough. You're as strong as most people with their Aura Releases without even using yours."
"But what if I face someone stronger?" Aurelia argued, frustration in her voice.
Ronan shrugged. "Then outsmart them. Save your Aura Release for when it really counts."
