"Wilhelm..."
"We found it!"
"Is this the fruit you were looking for?"
*Sea Circle Calendar, March 15, 1503.*
In the first half of the New World, near the Kingdom of Dressrosa, lies a small sea area filled with danger. Ferocious fighting fish make it nearly impossible for ordinary people to approach. Across this perilous sea is Green Bit, a lush peninsula covered with dense vegetation.
In the heart of its verdant forest, several tiny "elves," no larger than the palm of a hand, hurried over, their excitement evident.
With a sense of reverence, they presented a pure white, flawless Devil Fruit marked with unusual patterns to a tall, striking young man with silver-white hair.
"Oh? You found it?"
The boy, who looked around fifteen years old, was dressed in elegant, luxurious clothing. Despite his age, he stood at an impressive 2.3 meters tall, towering over most adults.
His silver-white hair flowed gracefully, and a distinctive blue crescent moon symbol adorned his forehead. His spotless white outfit was decorated with intricate red hexagonal plum patterns.
His face was sharp and perfectly sculpted, exuding a noble aura. Between his brows lingered a sense of indifference, while his golden eyes shone like a falcon's, piercing and focused.
His pale skin was strikingly flawless, enough to make any woman envious.
Adding to his otherworldly appearance were his nails—long, sharp, and beast-like, distinct from those of ordinary humans.
A beautifully ornate sword, encrusted with multi-colored gemstones, hung from his waist, more like a masterpiece than a weapon.
Beside him crouched a majestic mastiff with snow-white, fluffy fur. Towering over most adults, the creature radiated power yet remained calm and obedient, showing unparalleled loyalty to its master.
"That's right. This is the Devil Fruit I was searching for..."
Charlotte Wilhelm accepted the pristine Devil Fruit, carefully inspecting it.
He confirmed it was the *Healing Fruit*, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit he had once seen recorded in the Charlotte family's Devil Fruit Encyclopedia.
With a slight nod, he smiled and said, "Thank you so much, members of the Tontatta Tribe!"
Charlotte Wilhelm, a reincarnated soul, now carried the full name of *Charlotte Wilhelm*, the twenty-second son of the infamous Charlotte family.
He is the captain of the Big Mom Pirates, a unique hybrid born from the infamous pirate *Charlotte Linlin*—better known as Big Mom—and a white Shiba Inu member of the Mink Tribe.
Though primarily human in appearance, he carries distinct traits of the Minks, such as sharp claws and a fluffy tail.
Charlotte Wilhelm had made a special trip to the Kingdom of Dressrosa to acquire this Devil Fruit.
"It's no problem! We're happy to help you!"
"Thanks to you, we were able to drive off those pirates causing trouble..."
"Now that you've found the fruit you were looking for, Wilhelm Lando, hurry back and use it to save the person who needs it!"
"Hopefully, it will work!"
Hearing their genuine thanks, Wilhelm smiled faintly.
One of the Tontatta Tribe's little men, his face filled with joy, scratched his head and grinned awkwardly.
"Then I won't hold back..." Wilhelm said, leaping gracefully onto the back of his snow-white mastiff.
It had taken quite a bit of effort to convince the Tontatta Tribe to search for the fruit. He had spent days winning their trust by sharing delicious snacks that left them energized and eager to help. After searching tirelessly day and night, the tiny but determined tribe had finally found the Devil Fruit he sought.
Now that he had it, there was no reason to stay any longer.
"Shigan, let's go!"
With a command, the snow-white mastiff roared.
"Roar—!"
Its body began to grow at an astonishing speed, swelling to a massive size. As it transformed, its forelegs became large, feathery wings as white as snow.
"Woo hoo hoo..."
With a powerful beat of its wings, a gust of wind swept through the area.
Under the amazed and fond gazes of the Tontatta, the enormous mastiff took off into the sky, carrying Wilhelm far above the forest.
"Thank you for your help, kind elves!" Wilhelm called out.
"Wilhelm Lando, goodbye!"
"Come visit us again someday..."
"The snacks you brought were so delicious!"
"We should be the ones thanking you..."
As Wilhelm and Shigan soared away into the horizon, the Tontatta waved and shouted their farewells, their small voices carrying a mixture of gratitude and reluctance.
Wilhelm sat atop Shigan, quickly vanishing into the distance above Green Bit Island. Before long, he arrived near the neighboring kingdom of Dressrosa.
*"Boru~~~ Boru~~~"*
The phone transponder snail in his pocket suddenly began to ring.
Wilhelm gestured for Shigan to descend, and the massive mastiff gracefully landed on the grassy plain below.
Answering the snail, Wilhelm spoke calmly, "This is Wilhelm."
The snail's features morphed into a composed and sharp expression, echoing the voice on the other end. *"It's Katakuri, Wilhelm. How's everything going in Dressrosa?"*
"Katakuri-nii?" Wilhelm raised an eyebrow but showed no annoyance at the concern. "Don't worry, everything's under control," he replied evenly.
Although Wilhelm didn't see Charlotte Linlin—a crazed, unpredictable woman—as his true mother, some of his siblings had genuinely shown him kindness. Despite being half-siblings, their relationships weren't strained by barriers or rivalries.
Katakuri, the second son of the Charlotte family, was one of those siblings Wilhelm held in some regard.
This mutual respect gave Wilhelm a certain sense of connection to the Charlotte family.
However, respect and obedience were two entirely different things.
No one—not even a monster like Charlotte Linlin—would ever control his life.
"Today is the wedding day between Cracker and the princess of the Karite Kingdom," Katakuri continued. "Mom's hosting a grand tea party and has invited many notable guests..."
Katakuri's voice turned slightly serious. "She's not happy that you, the most talked-about 'Thrilling Noble Son'Â of the Charlotte family, didn't show up!"
Wilhelm's younger brother knew all too well how unique Wilhelm was. Since childhood, Wilhelm had been relentless, training with obsession and pursuing power with unshakable determination.
By age 15, Wilhelm had achieved incredible strength, a testament to the monstrous talent he inherited from Charlotte Linlin.
A natural-born monster, he possessed limitless strength and seemed immune to injury. From the moment he was born, Wilhelm had endured harsh training, brutal battles, and endless slaughter—emerging from each trial unscathed.
Though many siblings within the Charlotte family proclaimed themselves as the "ultimate masterpiece," Katakuri understood the truth. His own strength, born from seniority and hard work, couldn't compare to Wilhelm's natural potential.
The real masterpiece of the Charlotte family wasn't him—it was his cold and enigmatic younger brother, the hybrid born of human and Mink lineage. Known as the "Thrilling Noble Son," the *twenty-second son of the Charlotte family—Charlotte Wilhelm.*
